    Well right now its a bit chilly in the morning for the first load, but after that its been really good, gloves but no thermals. As we move more into winter its going to get colder, but the skies are bright!! Remember! No such thing as cold, just the wrong clothes!! --------------------------------------

    No no no! that wasnt a hangover, i think it was something to do with the air conditioning in the hotel room Anyway, So far the Empuria possie totals 7, with more still to book.. --------------------------------------

    Right! Room booked, was worried there would be none left, but its all good, and paid for by the boss So just like last year, i will be there as a representive of skydive empuriabrava which means behaving in a sensible manner and no getting drunk or getting involved in any silly business!! (cough) --------------------------------------

    This free flight offer ends tonight so if anyone else is heading to the AGM from outside UK better get it booked! Last year 12 of us from Empuria made the trip, gonna be even more this year... --------------------------------------

    Just booked my flights from Spain, 0.01euro outward, 0.01euro return..... Booked on my credit card, better start saving now to pay it back!!! See you there x --------------------------------------

    Empuriabrava is pretty close to London as well!! Lots of Brits come here for the weekend, best time yet is 4hrs 10 mins door to door, (leave work Fri, at the dz bar in sunny Spain before 10pm!) It can take longer to get from work to a DZ in Uk on a busy Friday night. AND With the cheap deals available on the budget airlines it can be cheaper than the fuel you would use in the car! --------------------------------------

    I have just received a txt from a UK jumper asking what the weather will be like in Feb 07 here at Empuria. If anyone has this info please let me know and i will pass it on! The only info i have from previous years is that the days will be shorter than they are now in August and it will prob be not as warm. Winter time tending to be not as hot as summer time in northern Europe. BUT If you do have details of the weather in Feb 2007, (between 15th and 22nd) I would love to know --------------------------------------

    I am so sorry!!!! When i was typing the reply i couldnt be bothered looking if he had said miles or kms so i took a guess..... so Any thoughts on doing tandem one jump then AFF and swapping back and forth? Some instuctors think its a bad idea, others dont mind. --------------------------------------

    Bloody hell Graig! A 12mile run???? I know, i should do more to keep fit, BUT, at this time of year we start at 0830 and finish at 2130, so its a beer or two then food then bed. I do try to swim between lifts if i get the chance. Plus didnt get day off last week because we had so much work. I do find the day off makes all the difference. --------------------------------------

    Well did 19 this weekend, 10 Sat and 9 Sun.. Doing AFF today, feel very tired tho. We dont have to pack the tandems by the way, you can do and get more cash, but man!!! --------------------------------------

    I remember something about tandems in Mallorca a few years back, think it was a short term thing. Dont think there is anything at the mo.... Im sure someone will give the answer soon!! --------------------------------------

    Pretty new to tandems, just over 100. Here at Empuria we go on standby if the wind goes over 23kts. Im happy with that. Just wondering what your wind limit is and how many you will do a day. I find 10 plenty right now! --------------------------------------

    Hi caspar! It is windy right now, been like this for 5 days now! BUT, It should end Thursday we are told....we are all going mad! no more DVDs to watch... Had some good late nights tho, been to the waterpark, been up the mountain, been bloody everwhere.. I hope its ok for you when you get here. Regan --------------------------------------
