There are about a half dozen people in this forum attempting to provide you with evidential testimony to meet your criteria. and if I met a guy in the park who claimed to be the reincarnation of Napoleon would that be evidential testimony?

http://www.equip.org/perspectives/what-is-a-religious-cult 2) The Old Testament provided the Law e.g., homosexuals should be put to death. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law with the once and for all sacrifice for sin. 3) The New Testament provides the teaching of God's Grace because of the atoning death of Jesus Christ. 4) Homosexuals can be forgiven of sin. 5) All sin is equal to God and it separates humans from Him. 6) Jesus is the bridge between humans and God because he paid the price and satisfied all legal requirements. 7) The Holy Spirit leads you to Jesus Christ and once He is accepted through the surrender of repentance the Holy Spirit resides in you. 8) Sin means missing the mark i.e., you shoot at the target but miss the bullseye. 9) Repentance means to change your mind i.e., make a 180 in your thinking. I apologize for butting in; I hope this helps. How does jesus getting arrested and executed, fulfill the law? given the evidence the homo sexuality is at least partially bioligcally determined how can i be a sin? Given Jesus is god why should his death on the cross be considered any kind of sacrifice? Why do Christians say laws they dont like in the OT dont need to be followed but laws they do like do? All sin in not equal according to the NT. Its explicit that blapshemy against the holy spirit is the one unforgivable sin. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+3%3A29&version=NIV how sick is it that blaspheming a spirit cannot be forgiven but murder or rape can? -

Of course they do. Why do you think trial attorneys take acting lessons? Can you understand simple English? i asked what one would like them to base their decision on, not what they do, in reality, base their decisions on. -

My post said learned feelings. You do not always have to have evidence to test something do you? I dont know, im asking? I would say no though. Of course you do, imagine you were on trial for murder, would you like the jury to come to their conclusion based upon their feelings or evidence? -

My criteria is testable evidence. For example, is relativity true? We dont use our feelings to work that out. Our feelings are not going to be able to help us , we cant notice some of the effects that relativity predicts. For example relativity tells us that time runs at a slower pace for moving objects than for stationary objects. Our feelings wont help us becuase if we are moving at speeds that are not close to speed of light then the amount at which time slows down is too small to notice. But if you travel at speeds close to the speed of light the difference is very large. In particle accelerators we observe these differences and they come in exactly where relativity predicts they should. So we say that relativity is true. Our feeling and our intution are often wrong . For example. If I traveling at 100mph and you are 200mph are intuition would tell us that our relative speed shoudl be 100mph. this would be correct ; but our intution will probably say that the relative speed is always the difference between the two. But that is not correct. Lesson: feelings and intution are not good criteria for truth, testable evidence is. -

Just having the knowledge has never been enough. The revelation given through the knowledge is where the true power is. People can know things and still not have revelation. The knowledge of Muhammeds final prophecy is not enough to bring about revelation in the heart. Take a seed. Plant it. Water it. Give it sunlight, do everything you can do, but, you do not make it grow. Life is in the seed and life makes things grow. God is life. Revelation is a gift of truth... it can open eyes and completely change perception. The problem isnt God, it is mans interpretation and application of what God is. This is why Jesus is called the sharpest double edged sword. One edge is for protection against hypocrites (in religion), the other is for protection against doubt (usually a bitter doubt). Both can be found in a believer but it is the strength of the sword, not the believer, that is the glory of God. Love conquers all. Thats what this is all about. There are limits sometimes to the amount of love we can let in and that has to do with the hardness of our hearts. It doesnt matter what wisdom allows mankind to dig up, it doesnt matter how much you know. The greatest pursuit in life is love, that is what matters. You say the problem isn't god but mans interpretation, any being who was actually good at communicating would take this into account. How has revelelation got anything to do with truth? What is your criteria for deciding what is true and what is not? -

To try to bring the analogy back on track I'll attemt to interpret yours. Are you trying to say that a higher percentage of engineers will agree with the official story versus a small minority that oppose the official story? Off what statistic do you base this assertion? There are 1000’s that have opposed the official story publicly and published their opinions, versus an uncounted number that campaign for the official story in a similar way. In the middle there’s the majority that would rather not talk about it. These are the people that stand on the fence because they are not sure, too scared, or simply apathetic. These are the ones that simply read the thread and consider it. They lay silent until the day it all comes clear, that day is not when we have the details to do so, we have for a long time, it is the day we are allowed to speak about it openly without ridicule. Then they will say their view. Almost all of the posters in this thread help this day become further and further away. You have 1000's of people campaigning for your movement. wow . There were 1.7 million engineers employed in the USa in 1999. http://www.abtassoc.com/reports/NSF_EWP_report2.pdf Your numbers are not impressive. Your are entitled now to speak openly,m but iof you say smething idiotic dont be suprised if someones ridcules you . YYou are in a controversial discussion forum. What do you expect? Particualrly when you dont asnwer questions. Ill ask mine again, why were there no Iraqis on the planes?

The other problem with Placebos is that whilst they may alleviate pain via enorphin release: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=brains-own-pain-relievers they are unlikely to cure serious diseases. So the danger is that people will take them for a headache , see they are effective and then take them again for a brain tumour and die. lesson: pure placebos are dangerous.

I diagree with the article you posted, what idfference oes it make whether its written by a black female or a hwite male? Judging the content of ana rticle by the colour of the skin of the author rather than its quality is simply racism, is that what you are suggetsing? Im not criticising Martin Luthers Kings non violent methods. if you knew anyhting about what you were taking about you would know King was advised to use non violent methods by Bayuard Rustin who was a communist. So if you want some glosry to Christianity becuase MArtin Luther King was a Christiain, you should also dish it out the the communists becuase Betrand Rustin was a communist. -
In the Us theres a public interets defence, which there isnt in the Uk. there also anti SLAPP legislation in the US which there isnt in the Uk. Can you show me where in the bible there is any protection for free speech? i thought the worse crime in the new testament was blasphemy, not exactly in the spitrit of free speech. Instead its exactly inline with an authoritarian dictatorship.

One might think of countries like China and Iran blocking blogs and other web sites as enemies of free speech. But Uk libel is also an enemy of free speech and not just in the Uk. Anyone that has published something that is distributed in the Uk can get sued in Uk courts. In these courts the burden of proof is reversed and the cost of defending oneself is 140 times what it is in mainland Europe. A recent case where Guardian journalist one his case against vitmain pill seller (who claimed that his pills could cure AIDS in Africa) Mathias Rath still left the Guardian £170,000 ($262,000) out of pocket. Us newspapers are stopping selling in the Uk becuase they are afraid of libel suits. Todayy science writer Simon Singh is at the high court to defend himself against chirocpractors who decided to sue him when they said there was no evidence they could treart a series of childhood illnesses. The Uk libel laws are a serious threat to free speech , not just in the Uk but around the world. If you want read more or sign the petition against them, check this out: http://www.senseaboutscience.org.uk/index.php/site/project/334

A parliamentary committee confirmed what smart people have been saying for a long time. There is no compelling evidence that homeopathy work beyond the placebo effect. Most people think homeopathy is a herbal medcine, but its also diluted to astronomical levels. Normally one part active ingredient to 1*10 to the power 60 parts water. yet millions of people spend billions of pounds on this utter nonsese. Anyone who think the Exodus is a good inspiration for people needs their head examined. Lets remember what happened in that biblical story. God decided not to kill the pharoh but all the first born Egyptians, little children and all. That was of course after he had killed all the cattle. Ths is inspiational for you? One might also consider the fact that Christinaity was used to justify slavery in the first place. Some quotes you might find useful: "[Slavery] was established by decree of Almighty God...it is sanctioned in the Bible, in both Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation...it has existed in all ages, has been found among the people of the highest civilization, and in nations of the highest proficiency in the arts" - Jefferson Davis, President, Confederate States of America "Every hope of the existence of church and state, and of civilization itself, hangs upon our arduous effort to defeat the doctrine of Negro suffrage - "Robert Dabney, a prominent 19th century Southern Presbyterian pastor "the right of holding slaves is clearly established in the Holy Scriptures, both by precept and example - "Richard Furman, President, South Carolina Baptist Convention perhaps you could tell us why there is a commandment against graven images but no commandment against slavery? Why is blapshmey against the holy spirit and unforgivable sin but slavery is forgivable? -
Opposing ridicule from the mainstream sheep is not an easy task and many can't be bothered to do so, even though their beliefs are in line with mine. More and more people are waking up, but those of your ilk are in too deep to allow yourself to. What is most humorous is the attempts to suggest that what I am saying is ridiculous, and that you guys have no interest. This thread and the plethora of others related to it would not have so many posts if this was the case, simply visiting and posting to make fun of someone’s serious concerns pertaining to all of our welfare on a global scale is not only shallow and inconsiderate, it is naïve. 500 posts later you are still repeating yourselves like a scratched record, and defending corruption and suggesting that your leaders are all squeaky clean, yet in the next thread you might visit you bash them for being corrupt. If any of you could show me some credible evidence to prove that the NIST report is correct and I am simply talking shit, then I will agree with you, but you all cling on to these manufactured lies that have been fed to you but Rupert Murdoch (PANC) and his cronies. These all use the statistics of the fraudulent NIST report, the report that Belgium guy admits is wrong, bilvon knows is wrong, yet won’t admit that this report is all you/we have to go on (from the authorities), we only have the word of our media and governments, you know those guys that you all mock in other threads for being corrupt… I would say I’m holding my own quite nicely, the ample attempts to belittle me and suggest that I am a radiophobe, only further incriminates the attacker as fraudulent and inconsistent. How about you suggest what it is that makes you so sure that the ‘official story’ is correct, if you cannot I can only suggest your thinking is in line with the feeble Christianity myth, a weak story pushing a corrupt agenda, backed by the faith of feeble minded sheeple that wish only to go with the flow to ‘conclude’ a deep intricate mystery for self comfort. Most are too busy being workers to even give it a passing thought. This spineless faith is the bane of our human race, we have not achieved such great feats by simply believing what we are told but buy pushing for further truth to know what is possible and what is not, it has taken great people with audacious suggestions and opposing popular belief to move us forward in life. This is true patriotism; Patriotism is word all to often used in America but not so often understood. Look it up! The denier mindset is akin to the mainstream belief that the world was flat, this is what the people were told, this is what the majority believed and it took people that were willing to be ridiculed and attacked to set the record straight. Faith is not enough for me, the facts speak for themselves, and you simply need to listen to them. You say more and more people are waking up, do you have any actualt stats to back this up or is yet another baselsss claim? We may be reapeting ourselves because you refuse to answer simple questions. Ill ask mine again, if the Bush administration planned 9/11 to support their plans for war in Iraq why did thhey not put one single Iraqi on the planes. Why did they not fake some evidence linking 9/11 to Iraq? You say the lies are fed to us by rupert Murdoch so why is that BBC and other media outlets also agree conspiracy theoriests are nonsese. Are they in the pay of Murdoch as well.? What on Earth has Christianity got to do with 9/11 conspiracies? If you look into the modern skeptical movement you will find that almsot all of them oppose 9/11 conspiracy nuts and alsmot all of them are atheists or agnostics. Your linking of Christianity and faith to those that doubt the vilidity of paranoid fantasies is ridculous.

Yes, that is an example. .. and this is a good way to knowledge how? I said it was an example. I didn't say I thought it was a good example. The manner in which I use the term revelation knowledge is what we in the counseling business call an "ah hah" experience. It is profound and it is personal. It is what it is and does not require proof for someone else. Why is it not a good example? The person claimed a revelation, whats wrong with it? How is it different from Christian revelation? and how is any of this "knowledge"? -

I did not say "the moderators are against me." Those are your words. I said they will support you, implying that the liberals will stick together. So why are you defending your conduct by talking about how you work at your job? There is no defense for contempt prior to investigation. There is no defense for revelation knowledge. Is it your job to evaluate the Christian behavior, ethics, customs or traditions of the U.S.A.? What is "revelation knowledge" , was the revelation that Muhammed recieved Gods last message to mankind an example of this? -
I try to avoid speculation these days, I have learned it can lead you way from you cause. but I will suggest a reason why they didn't 'just plant bombs'. You do realise what facilities were in building 7 don't you? the fact they have denied the possibility of explosives is aginst the rules of investigting such a disaster, if the public were to find out/be told that terrorists can infltrate the CIA headquarters and other government secret spots without detection and carry out the attack, then the fear mongering wouldn't work because the american pulic wouldn't feel very well protected. Shyam Sunder and John Gross will go down for drylabbing and 'serious movements' are being made at present to make sure this is fast tracked. Once this has happened, then we can get the real answers to your questions. I love the way you say you don't like to speculate and then you do exactly that. So what you are saying is that they didn't plant bombs because the the US public wouldn't feel protected Yet crashing planes into buildindgs did? Is this a joke? I thought conspiracy nuts believed the government wanted us to feel insecure so they can justify more repression. Which is it? Perhaps you an also answer my quesiton: why no Iraqis on the planes?

Actually, it would. Miles per second is your frame of reference. Speed of light is independent of frame of reference; both in Einstein's use of the phrase and your use to mean "units of measure." Facts don't change. "Truth" about facts change. When some people thought the world was flat was the truth, the fact the world was actually round didn't change. Their agreement over the "truth" of the facts had to change, but the facts themselves didn't change at all. That's the same point I was making. You just switched the words truth and fact. If the facts are always right then we can't call anything out of a science book fact. We can call them "what we think are thruths," but not facts since the term "fact" indicates ultimate understanding. My point, which you seem to agree with, is that science is not fact. It is our understanding of the facts. Which, in your definition, is just a temporary truth. That's why I always chuckle when people completely discount religion because they "only believe what experimental evidence shows." Well... 100 years from now everything you think is true will likely have changed. Congratulations on taking the more realistic approach. That's why I always chuckle when people completely discount SANTA CLAUS because they "only believe what experimental evidence shows." Why do you think your personal experience has anything to do with the truth. I have had a very powerful experience of falling whilst in bed. It seemed very real to me , but Im smart enough to know my brain was tricking me. Many people have this experience: http://sleepdisorders.about.com/od/glossary/g/Hypnagogic_Jerk.htm So clearly having a convicning experience does nto neccesarily mean there is an external reality to it. So why should we conclude your personal experience has an external reality to it? -
You know what I really cant tell whether your thread is a parody or is serious

Why would they need to fly the planes into buildings to make it seem more viable? why not just say it was a bomb or serious of bombs? that would invovle less conspirators, an important issue if they dont want to get caught? Again perhaps you will provide a reaosnable asnwer to why no Iraqis on the planes if the US govt organsied it?
