    Well a full ZP 330 tandem canopy is a Ferrari to me..at least it handles like one. My gawd now this is how parachutes are supposed to handle and perform! Got a loaner canopy until we get the blown cell figured out on the canopy i just bought. Other than having to learn quickly to fly the openings and not be surprised by off heading openings, this friggin rocks! I am still concerned about flying a eliptical canopy (yes eliptical) and treating the thing with the utmost respect because i know stupity on this thing could quickly turn ugly. i never thought a canopy could turn and respond like this, and my gawd does it have a powerful flare...I had nothing but tiptoe landings. THIS THING STOPS ON A DIME! Can you tell im excited? I think i'm going back to the DZ tomorrow just to jump the thing again....now do I really have to give it back "GOT LEAD?"

    Not sure what they will do yet other than telling me i would be happy. they sent me a 330 tandem to use till they get things figured out. i'll be at the dz tomorrow

    I was in Vegas two weeks ago and stayed at the Orleans. Very nice and $90 a night. Best for the money IMO "GOT LEAD?"

    That probably wasn't a good idea with a known canopy problem. After opening I didn't know I had a bad cell until I landed. If I saw the problem I would more than likely chopped it. "GOT LEAD?"

    Don't know yet..actually waiting to talk to the manufacturer and imagine they will want to see the canopy before we decide if something else is needed or if it was just a flaw when it was made. "GOT LEAD?"

    I didn't have a hard opening but it was on the brisk side but far from hard. (anything is brisk when i was getting 500 ft+ snivels before) As far as speed goes I never went above 140 and was slowing down before deployment (Neptune). Guesstimate would be about 135 at the time I threw. It does appear it does happen and that is what i was looking for. I did not chop it andonce under canopy I did notice a small "hole" that appeared to be a crossport. I have a all white bottom skin and the hole appeared to be yellow which is the color next to the black cell that was blown. When I say hole it only looked to be about 3" in diameter. We didn't notice the actual tear until we went looking for the hole. My guess is it was a small hole that continued to go as I did my checks and a few spirals. I changed my info to protect the manufactuer, I don't care to start a manufactuer A over B session. "GOT LEAD?"

    How likely is it to blow a 3 ft long hole along a seam on a bottom cell on a brand new canopy? I did yesterday and am curious how likely it happens. "GOT LEAD?"

    179 on your belly!!! holy crap!! I am 6'1" and about 350 otd and avg 145. without the suit it is still under 150 and usually still about 145. Come to Cali we could have some fun. Good luck brother. "GOT LEAD?"

    thats all fine and dandy until you end up in the "liability" crap now a days. Lets face it, i'm ordering gear that is definately safe for my situation, and in some peoples eyes too conservative (i'd rather be safe than sorry) but when you figure in the legal sue happy shit now-a-days it totally sucks. for instance, if a harness were to fail... would i WANT to be alive after that? come on. A reserve's rating, yeah I can see the situation but alot.....never mind i'm a unhappy camper at the moment. "GOT LEAD?"
