Ah, the only thing I miss about High School is not having to worry about money or even getting a job.

You mean http://www.headdown.net ?

Thank you very much, HH.

Time to get this ball rolling. Colin Wells here and I'm profoundly deaf. Been jumping since last summer and my home DZ is Skydive Virginia! Props to Billy Vance for bringing this new idea to Sangiro.

All I can say is...SICK!
-
Nice!!! Hope to see ya around again soon.

Your wish is my command

hilarious!

Yup, that's true. It's hard to believe that right now but time does heal. Be grateful for what you had and learn from your past relationship. If she cheated on you, it's time to make a fresh start in your life. No sense in wasting your time with her and hoping things will work out with her. Skydive as much as you can right now and make some new friends!

I think it is just a rumor, nothing more. I used to take Accutane when I was 19 years old. Yes, it is not for everyone because it has been known to cause liver damage and severe depression. My dosage of Accutane was above the norm. 40 MG per day for four months. The only thing I experienced while on it is very dry skin. I'm very sorry to hear Jonathan Brandis. I do remember him when I was a young teenager back in early 90's.

Yep, I'm there. It's strange when I've been dating in the past few weeks, she (my friend) starts to hang out more with me, trying to make more time to be with me. Geez.... They only want you when they find out that they can't have you.
-
Oh, that was JDBoston??? he was very nice and friendly. Lots of fun to jump with him. It was funny to sit-fly with him. He had to go into a stand the entire time to keep up with my fat ass! Joe, hope to see you around again at our dropzone!

Actually, it was his biceps, not tricep. Yeah, it never looked the same after he had a surgery to fix it. Yates still went on to win Mr. Olympia. As for Kevin Levron, from what I've heard, he was extremely lazy when it came to working out. He had the perfect genetics. He wouldn't start his in-season training until one or two months from Mr. Olympia. Or was I thinking about Flex Wheeler? I'm happy for Ron Coleman. He deserved it because he worked his ass off. I remember him from early to mid 90s. He was skinny compared to today!
-
Oh, please. Everyone who is a serious follower of Mr. Olympia knows that it's rigged. Mr. Weider "decides" who is the champion. Sorry, lol. It's been awhile since I kept track of Professional BB. I stopped after Dorian Yates stepped down. Now, he was the monster.

What Jump Did The Nerves Go Away
colintri replied to Kramer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I'm the same way. I'm not scared about jumping out of planes anymore. Now, I'm more like too anxious to get out of the airplane! I do get nervous whenever I'm trying something new. For instance, I was doing my first Hybrid jump last Sunday and I couldn't stop thinking about how it has to be perfect! Too bad it was a bust but still managed to have fun! -
Well, I don't own G4 but you're not alone with the recommended main size for the rig. For instance, I have G3/Unisyn with Spectre 190. It says the recommended Spectre main size for it is 170-150. I brought this new rig from its previous owner (who put only 10 jumps on it!) and he assured me that it would be okay with the current size. Only time will tell if it will stretch which I hope it doesn't happen! As for Unisyn, it is normal for your rig to move around and I'm able to move it up my back too. I didn't answer any of your questions good enough but I'm letting you know that you're not alone with that particular problem.
-
Hey, remember you get what you pay for!
-
Insane....but I like it! Good job, guys.
-
I own a Powershot G3. What about it? If you're planning to take it up with you in the sky, then I wouldn't know anything about it. I don't think it's doable, considering that it's bit bulky to hold.
-
Whoo! Join the club! It's so cozy and comfortable everytime when I slip into the rig, and you don't even know it's there.
-
Very nice! Just managed to stretch one of 'em pics on my desktop but it still looks great. Thanks.

How Long Did It Take For Your "A"?
colintri replied to Fireflyer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
For me, it took 3 months from AFF to my A license. I'm in a similar situation as you are, full-time school, a job on the weekend, etc. You just have to keep pushing yourself and take advantage of every opportunity that may arises to do the requirements for A license. In my case, it was different because I was in a friendly competition with my friend to see who could get A license first. Unfortunately, I lost. -
Actually, no. I attend VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), located in Richmond, Virginia. I've visited Gallaudent University few times before and it is a nice school. I heard that John Woo works there so he might be the best person to talk about it. Don't worry, I plan on practicing and becoming a good skydiver so I can participate in DWR one day in the future. Good luck at Perris.
