  1. Whooo...now I get to have fun by driving alone all the way up to X-keys.
  2. Very true. Everyone is different according to their needs. For instance, I used an interpeter for ground school. I managed to convince my DZO to pay for half of the cost of interpeter and I paid for the another half of it. For the rest of AFF jumps, I relied on lip-reading, writing on papers, and talking to Cat, another deaf skydiver at my dropzone, for inputs. Luckily, my AFF jumpmaster made sure I understood thoroughly each AFF jump before I did it. As for guidance under canopy, at my dropzone, Cat and I used an orange tarp cut out in the shape of arrow. I'm not sure the measurement of it, but it must have been at least 40 feet long. The instructors would move the end of it to whatever direction they wanted it in. It was very helpful for AFF jumps. Yeah, that would be....watch out for the maverick swooper when you're already on the ground after the jump because you can't hear 'em!!! Seriously, people forget that deaf people can't hear the canopy coming down to the ground, and we have to be more aggressively aware on the ground when we land.
  3. I'm surprised they threw it together so fast but here's a website dedicted to Ashlee Simpson. It has everything in it, including the videos. http://www.lipsync.us/
  4. Yeah, you're right. People either understand or don't understand that movie. I, myself, thought some of the characters were selfish and even self-absorbed. I loved the movie because it was a pure character-driven movie. No fancy or twisted plots, just dialogue among friends about life.
  5. 1) Caligula 2) Lost in Translation 3) The Big Chill 4) Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the killer) 5) All the Real Girls
  6. Okay, I guess I was wrong about Pedro but I know it's over!!!
  7. Looks like Pedro Martinez's going to make up for what he did last year.
  8. Eric Stolz was originally hired to play the part, Marty McFly, in "Back to the Future" movie. He did 1/3 of the movie before being fired and replaced by Michael J. Fox. Pictures of Eric Stolz as Marty McFly

    GMail

Well, what do you know? I have 5 Gmail invites now. Better get rid of them before they go to waste. PM me if you want one.
  10. Are you sure you're kidding? Thought of one more thing. I know Nathan Blackburn who was in the "Real World" (MTV show) based in Seattle. He was a senior in my high school when I was a freshman. What a jackass....IMHO
  11. I forgot about Rudi! One more. I know Rudi Johnson and played against him in high school. (Running back for Cincinnati Bengals). Now he was fast and slippery as hell back in high school. Hit like a mack truck too.
  12. Well, this is more of athletic response from me. I know a guy who is a good friend of Jim Kelly (Former QB for Buffalo Bills) I know a guy who was my baseball teammate in Little League. He is Brady Anderson's younger half-brother. (Former? baseball player for Baltimore Orioles) I know David Terrell and played against him in high school (Wide Receiver for Chicago Bears) I know Doug Chapman who was my former teammate in high school (Running Back for San Diego Chargers) I know Merrill Robertson who was my former teammate in high school (Linebacker for Minnesota Vikings, boy, he sure has grown!) Yes, I was a major jock back in high school.
  13. As a history freak, I'm so ashamed of myself. 9 out of 11. I was wrong on the number of Supreme Coutrt Justices and thought the Constitution was written in 1776.
  14. I have a neptune on my left hand and an altimaster III galaxy located on my right mudflap. I use both of them for visual aid. So far, neptune has been great for me. Both of them have been consistent together when judging altitude. I'm more of a stats geek so I prefer to use neptune for logging jumps and recording freefall rate/time. Can't beat protrack for that, though. PM sent for a dealer on Neptune.
  15. Hey, it looks sweet! Congrats on the new rig.
  16. Dang, and I thought I might be the first one to do that. Congrats to Alan! Alan's Base jump The exit looks scary! *Edited to add a direct link to his first Base jump
  17. How about this? It's what I use. Sonic Boom Clock Scroll down to the bottom of the page. It's a good clock but I know you won't like it because it'll vibrate your ass off the bed and the sound of it will frighten the living daylights out of you. On the positive side, the snooze button is easy to locate. That's only thing I can think of for you.
  18. Wow! Talk about a strange result. Here's mine. 1) Al Pacino 2) Val Kilmer 3) Denzel Washington

    Jerry Rigging

I was thinking more like sneaking in a baby ruth and let it float in the water. Do an impression of Bill Murray and take one big bite on it.

A heated pool and drunken skydivers? Hmm....imagine the possiblities that could happen....
  21. Please, don't even think about doing it. Or I'll be forced to bring....SPIDERS!
  22. Ah, I remember these scary looking bugs when I was a young kid. When my older brother and I were little kids, he'd used to take dead skins from trees and sneak up on me and put it on me. I always freak out every time when he did it. Bastard. They do look gross but they're perfectly harmless.
  23. It'll only work if you go straight to the website, FHM. Click on "Sex surveys" or "Take the international sex survey" and you're there. As for me,
  24. Hmmm...lol...oh dear. Maybe I should read Bettina's prior post before commenting... lmao... Yup, I try to warn people that after they try my balls for the first time, they will never get enough of it.
  25. Hey! Fine, I won't make it anymore for you if you're going to be so concerned about your skinny figure. Glad you enjoyed your birthday present. As for that website, holy smokes! That site is going into my favorite links for sure. Reese pieces, 25Lbs case! I'd better buy a blood sugar monitor so I don't go into hyperglycemia.
