If your beloved cops are so worried about the crime in the hood why don't they get out of their cush patrol cars or donut shops and go walk the beat in the hood, make friends w/ the local law abiding citizens and combat crime, old school?     Hey. Guess what. I someone breaks into my house the fuckin last thing I'm gonna do is waste my time callin a cop. I'd be dead for they got there. Guess what else. He let me slide by trusting me to be who I said I was rather than impoundinding my truck and taking me to jail. While I'm on it he did keep me half an hr. and told me he was cold and it was the end of his shift so maybe his selfishness helped me.     Recession is just a word. I paid $4.40 a gallon for gas yesterday. Food is way up. Unemployment is up. My wages aren't going up enough to match. The housing mess ain't going away for awhile. I call it a big fuckin MESS. I think war is good for the economy. Yeah. That's the ticket. Let's go attack IRAN.     He didn't let me out of a speeding ticket. It cost me 1006 dollars for the stop in fines. And the other jack booted pigs tried to confiscate 20 grand I had in the glovebox. See the diff. or are you so blind? Edit to add: The OFFICER had "PROBABLE CAUSE" to stop me. The jackbooted pigs had a (I swear) what amounted to a NAZI checkpoint set up as I was on my way home from dinner. What is this country turning into?     I would say so BUT this is the new NAZI America. None (few) of the sheep will stand up for their rights anymore. I usually raise hell at the checkpoints and have been quietly threatened by the pigs. "Wait til we catch you alone, We're gonna take you out in the orange groves and beat the fuck outta you" was the last thing I was told. (wispered in my ear by the jack booted pig as he told me to leave) Thank God the media was present.     When you say "WE" are you refering to the big city WASP type "W"E or the urban/rural less than cosmopolitain type "WE", i ask because although I have enjoyed my 3 times in the States and will again in December. Traveling through the inland Lower states is kinda scary, the bigotry is out and proud. Cool...and there's no tensions with the aborigini down there? Racism is a two way street. Yeah.     Yeah. Like my cousin. Took a chopper back from Catalina Island awhile back to Long Beach. She refused to get on a scale. Had to take her in the back room to weigh her in private. She's a TAD overweight. Pissed me off. The heavy person gets to ride shotgun.     I work my ass off to build power plants (UNION) for your electricity and make 36 bucks an hr. I consider that a liveable wage. Not many people can or will do it. And I sure as fuck ain't gettting rich. Am I being paid to much? Obviously not, since you're still working - but how much is the UNION getting paid per hour for your position? Well. Add 11 bucks an hr for my bennies and then take away a couple bucks an hr for my dues. Had 50 grand come out for ins. in the last 5 yrs and never used a dime. Every higher up is corrupt, we all know it. Union or not. I'll stick w/ the union for now.     Yeah. And have your vehicles built w/ cheap labor in Mexico. I bought a 1999 NEW Dodge Ram. Started falling apart at 5000 miles. Found a "ASSEMBLED IN MEXICO" sticker on the driver door jam. The farmers (big corps.) are also moving to mexico for cheap labor amongst other things. production>DOWN 40%. Imagine that. I love NAFTA.
