Would demo jumpers typicaly drop wind-drift indicators before a jump like this ? ...or would they be in communication with support staff on the ground to give them wind speed and direction ? (Hypotheticaly)... I hope this thread doesnt end up in Speaker's corner, but I carry a concealed firearm most of the time. I'm obviously very careful about where I put it and where it is at all times, because the consequences of losing it are quite serious. As a result, I perform a kind of a "gear check" several times a day for all the things I routinely carry like wallet, cellphone, keys etc. I've never lost an important item. The items are a type of Dräger-Tube Dräger is a German company. I find nothing unusual about the German labels. People who carry them are not necessarily protecting themselves from their own weapons. I dont buy it. Corporate directors are completely corruptable, for sure, but corporate directors are not the one's writing the programming code. A project of this size would involve more than a handful of geeky techies at the bottom of the corporate ladder who write and test the code, assemble the machines and perfom QA, etc. It's extremely difficult, in my opinion, to contain a scam as big as this amongst several low-level employees. My Level 6 and 7 AFF was "lurked" by a FS videographer with about 350 jumps, holding a position I would estimate at about 50ft away, and slightly above me, close enough to shoot reasonable video.
