  5. I'm 6'1" myself...240 (what I call winter weight) and down to 227 or so in the summer (jump) months. I could not find anything as far as a rig was concerned, used, that would fit me and the canopy that I felt were best for me then. So I ordered a new one made to fit, with articulated harness/hip rings, and the comfort zone soared. Like was said, especially in small or cramped spaces. I have a wings W-27, which is quite large. Have to go with all the others opinion, with my limited jump #'s, there are lots of other stuff around that will work, but maybe a "new" rig is in order. Good Luck. Mark So, you bring your beer? 7. Monkey...it is a contract job driving a big rig in the Sand! For Halibutron (SP), a government contract. The first $80,000 is tax free. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  8. Hey Driver....the new "JOB" isn't all it's cracked up to be. I allready looked it over and although it does appear attractive it is more like on the year side that your gonna be gone...or longer. Yeah, the tax free funds appear great and probably are, for a single guy with no wife and kids. It would be great if I didn't have a close significant other or spouse or kids and was free to choose myself for myself. But, when you weigh the odds, they are against you. Stay home and take care of your business there. Blues from another Driver. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
  9. Twas the week before Christmas and the roads were really crap. The wifes car slide's through the stop sign and gets hit in the ass. It spins and spins on the ice so nice and new, the ditch claims the right side, the side the other car didn't do. The insurance man totals it. The check is in the mail, oh wait, forgot, get me the title first then well send you whats left of the bill. Got that good news on Monday the 3rd. Seemed allright, look for a car in the next day or two. Then I heard a noise, scared the crap out of me, thought a tree had just fell through someone's roof so we both ran to see. The trees were standing, still strong in their roots. Didn't notice anything strange still, there was that strange sound you see. So when I go to the driveway with glee. found most of my chimney sitting on the hood of my shinny red sled. Now you thinks that is bad well that damm bastard santa. musta parked his damm raindeer a keltering on my roof that one night. Cuase now I have brick where there shouldn't be right. The window is busted, maybe the passenger side too. The hood has a big dent where there really shouldn't be one at all. The Leer cap is a total loss, one almost went right throug, bad thing about it, it didn't leak like that before ya know. So pic's will be posted when the sun comes up. The insurance man is gonna love us, and the premiums are just gonna sky rocket! Pics later. So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344

  14. The puppie is now home. We are having fun attempting to get the other pets to interact with her. They will learn in time. The cats still keep their distance but are coming around. The puppie and our big dog are having fun playing in the snow and are slowly working on a friendly relationship, within their boundries. Have a great weekend! So, you bring your beer? There were/is an extrem amount of "vendors" if you will still there trying to sell, and successfully, copies of photos and books and such. Not my cup of tea either. Mark So, you bring your beer? 19. This past weekend my wife and I took a trip to NYC. We have family that live there. While there I wanted to go to Ground Zero, why? Patriotism, Honor, a feeling for lost Souls, but not forgotten. When we arrived at Ground Zero the feelings I had were of helplessness, then sadness, then anger. Then the tears, many many tears. We just stood there silently, at the large fences erected around the gaping pit where once stood 2 mighty giants amoung us, where so many perished, so many tried to help and gave the ultimate sacrafice of life, the Twin Towers, Ground Zero. Where many gave a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, to cry on, to grieve. Always there will be a burden we ALL will carry in some small way. I have attached some pics that I took while there, the quality is not the greatest (shrink to fit). If there is anyone at all who would like a copy of any of the pictures please feel free to send me an private email at redramdriver@dropzone.com and I will send them out to you as soon as I can. 20. Individual gear would be easier to get rid of then Tandum gear is my guess. If it was a person with a grudge you wouldn't think that they would try to "move' it". Hate to say or think of it, but they would probably destroy it to get "back/even" with someone/s. Just hope it is found and in sound condition! So, you bring your beer? 21. Well, I guess it's time to hijack my own thread....got to the farm...had to tell her we were going to get some farm fresh milk and eggs for our trip to see her parents tomorrow in NYC...hehe...well we get there and there is puppie noises all over and she gets this "I'm gonna kick yer ass" look cause she knows I have wanted another dog. Well we go into the house, and after about 2 minutes we pick up a dog and well.......we will be bringing "mud room Maggie" home in two weeks....will post pic's then. And will also tell the story about the mud room! So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
