    We have been really carefull this time also, we tried a lot of time on the ground and had briefing for at last one hour also with the plane pilot (who was flying 700/1000 m over us to look) We are going to make things by steps, this is the way I planned to reach my target: 1st step (this one) 2 crw and 1 WS 2nd step 4 crw and 1 WS 3rd step 4 crw + video and 1 WS 4th step 2 crw and 2 WS 5th step 4 crw + video and 2 WS 6th step 4 crw + video with smoke, 2 WS with smoke, ground camera and aircraft camera. then there will be the next video uploaded (1 time only ) all WS pilots and CRW pilots are expert ones (but we already know that even if you are expert you are not an Highlander and our show WANTS to go on ! so we will be very very carefoul !)     Sorry for the double upload (i uploaded 3 times actually, 1st in the wrong section - base, 2nd the upload stopped due to a connection error and 3rd, the right upload in the right place...) about the video and flyby quality, this is our first experiment about it, we are going to make more and improve. next time will be better / slower / nicer !     Me flybying a 2 way CRW formation in Thiene (Vicenza, Italy) using Phoenix-Fly V-1. Everything was planned with the CRW pilots, with the planes pilot and the DZ owner. CRW Exit 2500 mt, WS Exit 2700 mt (1 min after and 1 km away), FlyBy alt: 1500 mt Deploy canopy alt: 1000 mt The video is between 1600 mt and 1400 mt Have a look to the ratio !! next time we will equipt of a camera the CRW formation and of a smoke can on me...     FreeFlySoul is maybe in worry because this is causing us some problem with the Federation... they are trying to unlegitimate all WS instructors because we are not federal AFF instructors (USPA is not applicable here). By this way every single speculation could become dangerous at this moment for the wing suit discipline in our country. Just Sorry us, but we are trying to survive... the single case of your friend (not a WS student but an expert one, b.t.w.) is being used Vs us. Sorry again, we will give better details when all will become official and clean. Jarno, it has been a double problem, Wing cut-away and canopy cut-away. but nobody knows exatly why.     Good Week End ! We have at last 3 new "totally addicted" birds, Ruslan, Goran and Daniele... some others will get addicted soon. Rus. has just wrote me an sms: "I cant stop thinking about that lift feeling... where are you next WE ? I wanna fly again !" Really thanks to you J. for your presence and help, it has been really precious. I will be back in Garzigliana again the 8/9 July, Fido are you coming with me ? it's a good location for you if you are still trapped in the French Riviera. For those thinking to come and fly in Italy we are going to organize some others WE in July, Cremona (1st 2nd July), Garzigliana (8th 9th July), Bologna (21st 23rd July), Aosta (in August).     It's a new sub-discipline: CROSS COUNTRY WINGSUIT. I'm thinking about that for a while, - have a good briefing on the ground by going on the places where you could land and look at every danger (high voltage infrastructure ecc). - Keep in mind that wind could change and you will probably need some secondary landing area - jump upwind - ride your canopy upwind - .... if it's possible following a road .... - bring your cell phone with you - AND TELL THE DZ OWNER YOU ARE GOING TO LAND OUT AND YOU ALREADY HAVE A CAR 4 U ! - bring something with you to kill the time while you wait 4 the car.... - Measure how many Km U are away from home Marco "Pazzo" Pistolesi pistolesi.marco(at)gmail.com

    The video is coded as an FMP4 that is a 4CC style. this will not run using WinAMP, BSPlayer and naturally WinMediaPlayer. What to do ? take an Hex Editor like This and open the file. you will find "FMP4" two times in the first 10 rows of ASCII table. change it in "xvid" the first time and "XVID" the second time. Still expect some little problems with WinMediaPlayer. 4CC (FourCC) come FMP4, che non viene letto da tutti i player. Lo legge solo Mplayer, Totem, Xine e forse VLC, ma niente per WinAMP5, BSPlayer e naturalmente Windows Media Player. Come fare quindi? Prendete un Editor Esdecimale aprite il file, e vedrete nelle prime linee due pezzi di stringa di quattro lettere = FMP4, appunto. La numero 1 la sostituite con xvid (minuscolo), la numero 2 con XVID (maiuscolo). Ora potete aprire il file da qualunque player e vederlo com un comune XVID, ma aspettatevi ancora qualche problemino con WinMediaPlayer. Marco "Pazzo" Pistolesi pistolesi.marco(at)gmail.com
