Just wondering if anyone else is having problems loading up video? I tried from two computers now and just get proxy that if did not load. would appreciate any help. flies are not to big. just keep showing error on page . Need help..thanks

As the question was asked by freeflychile, what is the situation with copywrite music? I see from some of the entries others are using that kind of music. Is that acceptable for this contest? Could you clarify this as I am sure many want to know. Thanks

Thanks for the great report. I think I am going this route. Any comments on the audio quality of this Sony? I have heard the Cannon's were pretty weak in this area and you had suggested a remote mic. Does the sony have as good audio pick up as most regular sony cams? Thanks

Thanks for the info. I take it there is no lanc plug on it as well? Sounds good so far and from what I had read about it I would expect Sony's quality to continue. Giving it some serious thought now. I would look forward to yours , and any others, that may have more info about this camera as they come into use. I take it is a bit larger than the Cannons but did you find the weight an issue? Do keep up udated about the wide angle lens. Thanks again.

I agree. I just went through that with a seller who posted gear for sale with OBO on DZ.com. He agreed to sell it to me at the "posted price" and said he just had to inform the other person interested that he was selling it to me, as I would pay the posted price, but then he re-contacted me and told me the guy had then offered him $25.00 more and asked "what do you want to do". I told him we had agreed on the posted price and I was not prepared to get into a bidding war, this was not the place for it. If that was his plan then sell it on ebay. Turned out he sold it to the other guy for the extra $25.00. Next thing you know the gear is up on ebay buy the buyer. At least I wanted it for myself not just to try to resell again. I would not bid on ebay for this gear after that as I felt if he wanted it so bad to pull this kind of stunt he was not worth dealing with. People should not post OBO if they want more than the posted price. This guy was nothing but a sleaze ball as far as I am concerned, especially after agreeing to the posted price. A deal is a deal but some people don't seem to have any respect about that. There was a time when your "word was your word". Seems a shame that it does not seem to be that way anymore with many today. A lot of "no conscience guys out there". Let the Greed drive you instead. What goes around comes around boys....some day some of you will grow up and learn that hopefully. From here on in it is probably best to ask when OBO is posted, is this a potential bidding war game or is that posted price actually the price you will take for it.

Vicky will be more than missed by us all. Never a bad word...never a negative comment. We all have been very lucky to have been blessed by having her be a part of our "skydiving family". She brought smiles to all that she touched. She worked hard and always took great joy in packing chutes, jumping and just being around the DZ. For her I am sure it was an escape from everyday life, a place to just hang out with friends and share the same love of the sport, to talk, to laugh and enjoy life for the moment, to live life to the fullest, as it is for many of us. I will personally miss her smiling face and sense of humor. You could not speak to her for more than a few moments without her some how making a smile appear on your own face before you knew it! I think I speak for us all when I say " she will not be forgotten" by anyone here and she will be deepy deeply missed . How sad a day it is....life is such a fragile thing..... and yet how very lucky we have all been to have spent the time, although far to short, with such a wonderful lady! Fly Free Vicky.......

keisari , thank you for checking it out. i am sure that there are others who it would not go through for , as I have spoke to some. It is a small thing but now it seems to work fine for me and hopefully others. Many thanks to you for looking into it.. For bodypilot1, I do know how to type a URL in, I was concerned about others trying as it was from the front page link of the Birdman site, as you would have realized had you taken the time to read the above posts. I was not trying to figure out what URL to put in to access the site. Glad you can however type in a URL yourself, add it to your list of many talents. It might help someone who is in this particular forum discussion but how would it help others just trying to access the site from outside of dropzone.com? It is evident that keisari understood clearly the question and the problem that was asked and helped to correct it. Once again thanks again to keisari for helping out. I was just trying to help out so others can access the site with out any problems. Think about it.

Upon messing with it, as I do a little web work, it seems the link has http://www.bird-man.com/ with the slash at the end and that seems to be the problem why it will not forwarding through. Is there anyone else that cannot get into the Birdman site? Ever since they put the picture up as the new intro page , when you click enter, it does nothing. I have tried this for quite a few weeks now and the same thing happens. Does anyone know if the site up or down or just a bad link from the home page??

Received my DVD copy today. Wow! A beautiful piece of work. Got me thinking seriously about being there myself in 2006. Thanks Jarno for the efforts to bring this great piece of work to us all. It will surely make many others wish they were there. Excellent!

Hey it might just be me but I do not see any cut-away or reserve handles in the photos. They appear as if they are inside the suit? What am I missing here? Can anyone clarify this?

Hey! I have a bullet cam set up for sale with a brand new CamEye sport for the pouch. All lenses included. This set up is mint. I used it some and found the video quality to be as good as most small cameras. Reason for selling is that I originally bought it to do Birdman stuff but carrying the pouch on front, etc would just cut down on aerodynamics and was cumbersome and would require to many alterations to my suit for that purpose,for my use. I shoot tandems and use a digital still often so don't mind the extra camera on top. It only has about 10 jumps on everything. Will sell reasonable. If you are interested just contact me here ryder@glinx.com . You must have the ability to record from a vcr to your camera. (basically plug it in to your camera) I am not familiar with your model. If you can do that then you will be ok.
