  1. The referees need to understand what a sweet deal they had and get their asses back to work. If not, they can go get a real job and let someone else have a shot at it. It's not rocket science and I'd bet there are plenty of others who could move into their positions with the NFL without too much trouble.
  2. Common ground! I actually agree with the VP on this point.
  3. Maybe that's why they had to come up with that famous instruction manual.
  4. A person is not required by law to claim all deductions he is entitled to. A person is required by law to pay taxes on that income if he does not take that deduction. So, based on the legal deductions he chose to take, Romney paid all taxes required by law and not a dollar more ...just like he said. He did not pay more than he owed so that self-imposed "disqualification" does not apply. It is not uncommon for folks who may come under political scrutiny to err on the safe side with their taxes. It is not nefarious trickery. These same cautious "tactics" might also be found in, say, Harry Reid's or Nancy Pelosi's tax returns.
  5. on that note : Pillow reserve handles. Majority of the people buying them do it for the cool factor. What's the other reason?
  6. The argument has gotten a little flat. nonsense, we seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of it But it seems to be losing traction.
  7. Well, to be fair, Romney doesn't have a bitch (like Carney) to send out to explain to the pubic who are just too stupid to understand, that what they heard is not what he said ...or what he said is not what he meant ...or what he meant is just too hard to ..or ...see, uh ... not what he said or .... Fox News isn't his bitch? No.

  9. Well, I have to say I had you pegged as a lib. Turns out you're farther to the right than most folks here ...especially, it seems, when it comes to public "subsidies" () for "kid factories".
  10. I don’t know what you mean by that. My point is not to kill or eliminate people who are already here. My point is if we evolve are way of thinking and just have one kid then we can cut the population in half in one generation. Solving many problems. OK ...there are too many people without a sense of humor.
  11. I can agree with that statement with one small point of difference. There are too many other people.
  12. Yes, his criticism of the "arrogant elitists" is kinda like a skydiver denigrating an arrogant skydiver by calling him a "skygod". Funny thing is that a lot of those folks (who poo-poo the skygods) often fancy themselves as the real skygods. Santorum, along with most other politicians, is no different.
  13. ^ Exactly like this. But I only did one (about jump #120).
  14. Just don't "tebow". That's so 2011. The new thing is "griffining".
  15. "Undocumented" is so vulgar. How about "Document challenged legitimate guest latent serial killer" one more refinement if it pleases the audience He's just doing the killing that most 'merkans won't do.
  16. An apostrophe or a comma might make a difference. "We are all Osamas, Obama" might be a statement directed towards Obama that each of them is Osama (in spirit or some such BS). "We are all Osama's Obama" might mean they are all the Obama that kilt Osama. They probably meant the first one. Kinda like when Clinton said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky". Most folks don't realize that he was directing that statement to Miss Lewinsky ...about some other ho.
  17. Question: When someone "condemns" something "in the strongest terms", why don't they just use the actual "terms" they are referring to so we know what they really mean? I didn't hear the Pres. use this moronic, catch-all "condemnation" (maybe he did), but I did hear it from the Sec. of State. It's usually inserted into the various blathering pontifications coming from the various self-important UN poobahs ...this time from the Security Council.
  18. We all know that serial killers are white not black. Well, except for that one. ....Oh, and maybe those other two.
  19. ??? Are you serious? If he gets away with his first murder he'll go for a second. How did you come to this conclusion? That's how serial killers operate. Yeah, he's already up to "1". (Hey ...even Ted Bundy had to start somewhere.) The next time his 'self defence' alibi will be even easier as everyone would expect him to be attacked. He'll be paranoid and well armed. He'll still have a thing about black guys. He'll have a sense of grievance about the time he's spent in prison but elation that he's finally got away with it. Just a little patience and he can make sure he gets himself into a situation where he can bait and murder again. He'll also almost certainly escalate to a double or triple murder just to show how 'outnumbered' he was. Does that scenario play over in your head often? Does the visualization seem to be getting more and more realistic? Do you know where I live?

  21. European or African? How do you know so much about swallows?
  22. I'll take that as a "no". That's a large majority for yes. I'm not quite sure how to respond to that so ......
  23. Interesting stat. Did they break down how much of that additional spending is real economic growth vs how much is only covering the resultant increase in costs of those items? IOW - did they quantify the increase in actual "buying power"?
