Ugh. I hate those guys. I dated a high profile guy in the free flowing money times of the 80s. He was like, "What should I pick you up in? The Porsche or the Jeep?" I'm like, "Dude, I'm not feeling so well. I'm staying home tonight." The arrogance made me sick. And I never saw him again. So what should I pick you up in? My 89 Toyota Supra? My 82 Jeep Cherokee Chief? Or my 03 Yamaha? Oh and we're going to Taco Bell. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Sarah Palin on the Financial Crisis.

I'm betting Governor Frank Murkowski also felt the same way about her when he appointed her ethics supervisor of the Alaskan Oil and Gas Commission. www.FourWheelerHB.com -
Sarah Palin on the Financial Crisis.
downwardspiral replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
The GOP platform, officially endorsed at the McCain/Palin coronationfest in Denver, is to push a Constitutional amendment that effectively cancels Roe v Wade. Read it for yourself. I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. That could definitely be a deal breaker for many folks here who are pro-choice. Regarding Palin...she is being criticised for many things because of how the media is portraying her which is not always truthful. Dig a little bit and we find the truth. I see her as someone who serves the people rather than herself. -She is criticised her for her earmark requests when she was a mayor yet all she was doing was trying to serve the people the best way she knew how. Yet somehow people overlook that she reduced earmarks requests from Alaska as a governor by 30% in less than two years. -She is criticised for amassing $25 million in debt as Wasilla mayor when she was doing exactly what the citizens of Wasilla wanted. -She is criticised for being for abstinence only sex education which turns out not to be true. -She is criticised for being extremely pro-life even in the cases of rape and incest yet that is a personal choice of hers and not policy. Yet.... MYERS: Interestingly as governor, she has not pushed the issue. There were times, for example, that members of the state legislature, who had anti-abortion bills to add more restrictions, wanted to bring those bills up as part of special legislative sessions on other issues. And Governor Palin said no. She has not proposed any added restrictions on abortion. And Alaska has some of the most liberal abortion laws in the country. -She's crticised as being corrupt yet when she was Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and served as ethics supervisor she discovered foul play. When her complaints to the governor went ignored she then resigned and filed formal complaints against Randy Ruedrich, Oil and Gas Conservation Commisioner and Chair of the Alskan Republican Party, as well as former Alaskan Attorney General Gregg Renkes. -she is criticised for firing the police chief because he wouldn't fire her x-brother in law even though the police chief readily admits he was never told to fire Wooten....he just felt pressured. -She's criticised for being dumb yet she went from PTA member to Governor of Alaska in 10 years. Do you think it's because she's pretty? Now I don't agree with a lot of her views but this is one of the very few politicians that actually does serve the people and above all else ....demonstrates personal integrity. www.FourWheelerHB.com -
Sarah Palin on the Financial Crisis.

She's not as extreme as everyone thinks although I understand why the media would paint her that way. http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-09-11-palin-cover_N.htm Natalie Schultz makes an excellent point here regarding Palin and abortion rights. http://www.nolanchart.com/article4804.html I realize you've already made up your mind about her but I thought I'd try anyways. -
That is cold. Yes, at least she was honest. She is a very nice girl anyway, not really my type, , she told me she was dating someone. I first met her when I first seperated from my ex wife, she started coming and hanging around my office. I wasn't ready to date and never asked her out so a guy upstairs did. When they broke up, he is an idiot btw, I asked her out and she told me she didn't want to date anyone because she was still getting over him. I waited and this is what I get.
-
I was thinking approximately $150 for the typical date that includes an activity, meal, and drinks. When I was in the Marines I dated a pig farmers daughter who would cut coupons out of the phone book so we could go out. She was awesome until I found out she was cheating on her boyfriend with me. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Sounds like bigotry to me. it is. www.FourWheelerHB.com

It's amazing what people will overlook because of party lines. Anyone know of a politician who serves the people and not themselves? I know I do. www.FourWheelerHB.com

I think it's only a few people who tend to be democrats that are exceedingly colorful in their posts. Not fair to paint them all that way on dz.com. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Can you point out where it says that? I'm not seeing it. www.FourWheelerHB.com

I found it odd he would question that as well since it's pretty obvious the writer meant .22 caliber. I just thought he was being sarcastic. www.FourWheelerHB.com

If after an hour she doesn't want you to finish because she's exhausted and can't take cumming anymore...then you ain't hitting it hard enough. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Like I said before. I'm not against hunting. Hell if you offered to take me hunting I'd accept. But your not going to catch me posing my kill in some distasteful manner to take a pic. This debate isn't even about hunting. This is about the two fuckers in the pic being every bit as stupid as those folks at PETA who throw paint on people wearing furs. It's childish and only serves to increase tension. So when are you inviting over to try that recipe? www.FourWheelerHB.com

no she didn't hide it...in one of her speeches she mentions what she did with the money. Perhaps it was an adlib but I can't find the quote. It IS, however, and example of hypocrisy like Kallend said. www.FourWheelerHB.com
-
She kept the "bridge to nowhere" earmark. I name that accomplishment "HYPOCRISY". and you are one of the few people who actually argue legitimate issues against Palin rather than call her names. She did in fact take that money and use it for other infrastructure projects. Why was this allowed? She certainly doesn't hide the fact she did it. www.FourWheelerHB.com

wow John. Do you really believe respect for life somehow involves religion and prayer? www.FourWheelerHB.com
-
Actually I do address legitimate issues. However what I see in response is mostly incorrect and emotional. The dems here see her as a weak point on the ticket. I see her as a strength because I do not discount her accomplishments as a governor because her daughter is pregnant or she hunts moose. Can you name her accomplishments as a governor? www.FourWheelerHB.com

Yeah and never mind her accomplishments of taking on big oil and government corruption. Isn't this the kind of change we want in Washington? Everyone likes to blame Bush but Congress seemed to be more concerned with steroid use in MLB and Bellichek cheating than actually representing the people. In my opinion our entire government has been limp for too long and as a country we're even considering a candidate for President who made himself the perfect example of an ineffective senator by voting present 49% of the time(according to what I read here). I appreciate that you support Obama but I want someone in Washington who is going to produce results...not just talk about it. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Apparently you didn't read the verses about casting the beam out of one's own eye... I've not noticed Jews, Hindus or Buddhists trying to get their morality enshrined in US law. Just Christians. I've not noticed Jews, Hindus or Buddhists lecturing others about their values. Just Christians. If you choose to throw stones, you should first ensure your house isn't made of glass. I was watching a video on youtube about what scientists have said about Buddhism and at the very end...."The one true path" is displayed across the screen. I thought to myself...the fucking dick is recruiting. People will find Buddhism on their own. We don't need to go "spread the word." The funny thin is when Jehova wintnesses show up at my parent's house, my mom tries to talk to them about Buddha. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Impressive resume for Obama. Sorry but while Obama's resume looks impressive, he did nothing as a Senator that is anywhere close to being as impressive as fighting big oil and government corruption.... and winning. oh and...... fixed it for ya. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Well, you have a point there, altho she hasn't committed a crime, other than being a zealotous nut freak..... firing aperson w/o cause is a civil (tort)and/or administrative act, not a crime. I'm sure her criminal activity will surface, just give her time First you call her trailer trash and now you think she's a criminal. Can't you find something based on fact to criticize her about? Completely off topic but I'm curious: What's Obama's stance on gun control? I only ask because he suspiciously left it off of his website and I'd like to know. www.FourWheelerHB.com
