I don't think it's necessary to go without hearing protection as practice. You can still hear the bangs while wearing it and still hear the door knob jiggle when you need to which is more important in my opinion. I can't believe how many like the glocks here. I hate them. Not at all, but again you need to be clear about the difference between a search and a frisk. Officers can talk to anyone they want any time they want. If they order a person to stay, or frisk without consent, they need reasonable suspicion. If you bother to examine where gun crime is happening, and where the stop and frisks are happening, you'll find they are very much the same place. Now, consider the demographics of people living in those areas, and you will find that the racial make up of the people stopped matches the make up of the neighborhood. It's not the police officers' fault that crime tends to happen in certain areas. Ask the residents why. Do they want police to stop and frisk people in Tribeca and Greenwich when the shootings are happening in Harlem and the Bronx? Or do they want police to focus on the area and the suspects of shootings? The real question, to me, would be.... I was a USMC CH-53d & e crew chief and the rapport between the pilots and enlisted aircrew was all business. We were too busy to do anything else. I imagine a tank crew is a little bit more lax but not even close to the level a non-combat Air Force unit can be. And that's the difference right there. I think that’s what it all comes down too. Not just in this discussion but most relationship problems and how you threat others has a lot to do with the way you feel about your self. I can understand if people get pissed in an airplane or some where the other person’s size actually effects you directly. However when you see people with so much hate for people they don’t even know or just for the reason that they’re not skinny it says a lot more about the hater then the fatty. But there is one thing I am trying to figure out what is considered fat? Do we go by the medical definition? Are they just repulsed by the people who are so fat that they can’t even walk fast? I guess I should have asked what everyone means by fat. Well the thread started out as just "fat." Then someone changed it to obese almost apoligetically. Then eventually and as expected someone else chaged it to morbidly obese. What I read into this is pretty much anyone who happens to be 20+ pounds overweight is repulsive.
