  1. My parents have been married for 37 years until my dad's passing, but they should have divorced long before that if you ask me. Why they stayed together is a mystery to me... "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  2. I'm not sure about the gastro-intestinal issues, you should take him to the vet for that, but is it possible that he is a Maine Coon or a cross? (or mama has been messing around with a mountain lion) "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  3. They have sat on my Birth Certificate for over a week because we have a replacement mail carrier on our route and apparently he couldn't read my mom's '1's No attempts to redeliver it, no notices, nothing. (it was registered mail) So what does USPS do? They've put it on shelf at the post office and basically forgotten about it. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  4. American lamb loin chops w/ mediterranean quinoa salad. Good and good for you. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  5. Growing up in Hungary we raised and slaughtered our own pigs, chicken and sheep so I voted no. The only difference was that those animals were free to run around on grass and fed corn. There is no reason to treat animals inhumanely. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  6. If you want to achieve overall fitness, your best bet is to change your routine up frequently to challenge your body. Do something different at least weekly. This way you also avoid boredom. For me the best workout is boxing, hands down. It's cardio and core strengthening all in one. Hit the heavy bag or spar with a partner for a few rounds. If you want to focus on your core strength, you may want to familiarize yourself with the BOSU http://www.bosu.com You can do all your basic moves or free weights while standing on it, thus improving balance and core strengths. 7. Roasted haddock w/ a tomato and olive ragout, (leftovers from last night) 1 granny smith apple, peeled and Fage plain greek yogurt Healthy and fits in my diet! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  8. Mis-report? He was in the death-zone! He was lucky to remember to put one foot in front of the other! He was convinced of the identity of that person for quite a while, however if I remember correctly (mind you it's been a while since I've read the book) he later corrected himself. As for Boukreev, let me just say he was the product of communist Russia where one's life's goal was to please and better your government, especially if you were a high profile athlete. You were supposed to do as you were told no matter how you got there. I know I lived it for 18 years. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  9. How do you know Boukreev's account is not unbiased? Just because he is a more experienced climber it doesn't make him more credible. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  10. That shows you how well they clean hotel rooms! I'm glad he is OK! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  11. Sounds like something I could eat on my current crazy diet. (I'm on a wheat/yeast/sugar free diet for a whole month) Unfortunately the list of no-nos include booze But hey, who cares when I can have all the quinoa in the world! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  12. I don't consider myself a picky eater, although I wouldn't eat offal or bugs.. The only thing I checked on the list was "fresh or canned fruit" I prepare everything fresh, including fruits, veggies and proteins. The only can at my place is located in the bathroom "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  13. Those tabbies are gorgeous! Their stripes stand out very sharply against the base color! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  14. After being a PITA since 6 AM (it's Sunday, people!) she is now peacefully curled up on my lap now that I'm WIDE AWAKE! If anybody knows an effective way to teach kittens to read the calendar, let me know! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  15. I agree as well. She is cute, definitely talented and mature for her age but certainly no prodigy. However, puberty doesn't affect girls' voices as profoundly as boys', so she may be allright in that department. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  16. Being Europian, I had the (mis)fortune of owning some of the more "exotic" ones. My ex and I owned a Citroen Dyane 6 when we lived in England: http://www.vea.qc.ca/vea/v/citdyane68a.jpg and while in college in Hungary, we drove the the flagship car of East German engineering, the Trabant, which is basically a lawnmower with four wheels and a transmission. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trabant "I love cooking with wine. 17. Great man, great life, farewell Sir Edmund! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  18. QuoteWhat the fuck gives people the idea that they should have a RIGHT to have a child just because they biologically can PRODUCE one?Quote Brittney Spears comes to mind... As for the rest, AMEN! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  19. ...and don't hit the blimp! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  20. Or paper bags from the liquor store... "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  21. Congrats on your kitty, he is adorable! He looks very similar to our first "child", also an orange tabby, almost three months old. I've had a few of them before and they all had great personalities. On our first visit to the vet we were informed that the actual name for 'orange' coloring in cats is called the Red Mackerel Tabby. Who knew! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  22. Over 3 years... First for financial reasons, then almost two years ago I was told I had a seizure disorder As I have never had a seizure after the initial two, jumping is a real possibility in a few years I'll keep posting until somebody organizes a support group for people like us "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."

You may want to give these guys a try. They'll keep him for three weeks, and it'll cost about two grand. (not including shipping and handling) http://www.newsketemonks.com/training.htm "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  24. When it comes to hummus, you can pretty much put it on a plank of wood and I'd eat it! You can use hummus as a condiment on wraps and sandwiches adding flavor and cutting calories if you are normally using mayo. My favorite is a veggie wrap with field greens, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and crumbled feta rolled up in a lavash bread spread with hummus. Healthy and filling! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
  25. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Stay strong! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
