  1. Make sure to check the Relative Workshop to see container sizes. If I'm not mistaken, the Micron series is limited to canopies up to 150square ft?!?
  2. I believe that raising dubious points regarding all this controversy surrounding the Weapons of Mass Distruction is just a mere exercise of our freedom of speech. And not bitching, which sounds downright crude and empty of arguments. Thinking about what's easy and what's not, let's also imagine that it must not be easy to have your homeland taken over by foreign troops that don't understand the culture, the language, the bare minimum... Think how humiliating that must be... Now think about how easy it is just to sit in the U.S. applauding the administration's war campaign, and not even be phased by the fact that the main reasons for the war is yet to be discovered or stumbled upon... Sovereignty is one, if not the biggest, principles that orients freedom, democracy, the world as we know it. And Iraq does NOT enjoy such privilege under the allegation that the country/its former leader/whoever might have supported terrorist causes and might have had a WMD program (despite what every other expert had to say...). In the words of Sergio Vieira de Mello, my fellow countryman that died in the bombing of the UN Headquarters in Iraq, I'd be pretty upset if tanks invaded Bahia de Guanabara or Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. It is humiliating and distressing. For all those reason, it would be nice to see some of the allegations materialize into hard evidence... Not for the sake of argument, but the sake of millions of Iraqis that deserve their country back. my 2 cents. T Edited to correct typos (trigger happy, trigger happy!)
  3. Thanks all! I'm in touch with Rodman and will most likely have him do the work on my helmet. Cheers! T
  4. Can you guys tell me how much you approximately spent on Rodman's work? Thanks! T
  5. Hope this is the right forum... Anyone knows of a company/individual that does good custom paint jobs for helmets (airbrush preferably)? Tks, T
  6. Beleza Evandro? Seja benvindo, e divirta-se! Este site tem muita informacao bacana... Mas lembre-se, na duvida, consulte um jumpmaster... Abraco para todo mundo de Boits! Latah, T
  7. I was the happy owner of three Vectors before buying my Odyssey, and remember quite well my rigger advising me not to try and "cram" a reserve which size was not recommended by the factory. According to him (who I respect immensely) the way the vector harness is build around the shoulder and on your upper back(snug and narrow) might cause a too big of a reserve to be locked in the container. If I were you I'd e-mail Mark Prokous at the Relative Workshop and ask for advice directly. The Microraven 120 is not at all forgiving, specially when wingloaded at more than 1:1. I have three friends that had their MR120s stall on landing and were slammed into the ground. Two of them ended up breaking a few bones in their spines... Stick with PD. Maybe even get a bigger container if you want to have a bigger reserve. Good luck! RH28
  8. just to make you jealous... no, I didn't pry it from Drew. I bought him a spanking brand new Stiletto 107 and kept his old one.... not too shabby, huh?!?
  9. Bad juju? Where were you last year during Pond Swoop Nationals???? If I remember correctly, that "canopy" finished in 39th out of over 70 competitors leaving a lot of cross-braced ones eating dirt... Not to mention that the logo says it all... it was an Airspeed canopy for the World Cup... I think that's a lot of top-grade-A-most-excellent juju! Haha right back at ya! Thereza
  10. Thanks Remster! I was in fact asked by Matter to send them a few measurements just so they could verify my size with the stock ones, which is definetely heads-up and cool of them... As to the cut of their suits, I agree with you. It is definetely more snug than the usual freefly suit, more like the Space Suit from Tony Suits. This seems to be the new trend in freefly. So if you don't need extra fabric... Anywho, thanks again for the tip. Latah! T
  11. Marcus... you're funny... as if you hadn't produced all three of them! My personal favorite is Snow Disc Snow though... Bruce Chapman rules! But yeah... your swoop films are pretty cool! Tchau! T ps Hunter and Jimmy will be up at the DZ this weekend for a camp. Come up and hang out!
  12. I wonder if the turns is one of those stories that just gets passed around so much everyone knows it? It could be! The other story I heard directly from the person I bought the canopy from, and who had flown it at least a couple of times, was that you'd have to sort of wrap your toggles around your wrists a couple of times to get a good effective flair out of it. Maybe I wasn't wingloading my 120 that much, but the landing was super smooth. Not a problem! You have no idea how many people in AZ came up to me asking how was flying a Tempo... Even riggers! I guess those stories/legends do get around... Tchau! T
  13. anywaze, check out the web-site for Matter www.matterclothing.com. They have some cool pictures there... Totally worth a visit! Tchau T
  14. not everybody, tough guy... I have the luxury to expose me legs and wear skirts! Ha!
  15. Okay, so we were talking pants, right?!? First, thanks Kerry for the info on Matter! I just ordered my two-piece freefly suit from them, and it will be shipped tomorrow! Just for the record, not only does Matter have pants in stock, they also have the jackets... I've been totally hooked on Matter since I saw Emmanuelle Celicout's jumpsuit back in 2001. The fabric is awesome, the design is cool, it looks dope... I'll came back next week and tell ya'll how my baby flies... yeah.... Ah! Great service, too. Cedric is super and helpful. Cool! Latah! T
  16. That same problem is very common in Tempo reserves... Personally, I flew a Tempo a couple of years ago and it was absolutely fine. Ravens however have a reputation for stalling, for having slight turns (like yours), etc., etc, etc... Definetely have a rigger check it out... most likely one of the break lines will be shorter than the other, or the trim is just screwed up. Perhaps taking a day or two to evaluate if you want a reserve you will be second-guessing on your back is good thing to do... Easy solution: sell the darn thing and get a PD Reserve. Hands down the best product in the market... Good luck! T
  17. The Matter web-site mentions something about a freefly jacket also, but I didn't find any links to order/see it. Does anyone know if they are actually manufacturing the jackets as well? Tks, T
  18. you can always contact SSK yourself directly to verify what's going on... good luck!
  19. hey Lew! Hang in there girlie! Wishing you a quick recovery :-) Super good vibes and loads of love! T
