Other. I don't know anyone using less that 1024x768 (and yes refresh and dp matter). I used to have an HP 21" CRT 1600x1200 @ 85hz. Since all I've jumped is C-182s, I'd say that they're really fun. The ride to 13.5k takes a while, (especially in the winter) but since I have nothing to compare them to, I guess I should vist other DZs with other hardware. (Like a really need a reason to jump right, Oh I'll jump just twist my arm a little more). Again, there should be an option for never downloaded. My opinion is that downloading is simply stealing, regardless of the excuses used to justify the practice. - Record company execs are greedy and screwing artists. - If it's on the internet it must be ok. - the artists / record companys have lots of money. - etc. Since the material that we're discussing is copyrighted, downloading without monetary reimbursement is stealing someone else's intellectual property. (No one forced any artist to sign a contract with a greedy record company, so the contract was mutually agreeable to both parties at some time). Any Artist that thinks that downloading is o.k. should donate his/her material for that purpose. I'm tired of people trying to justify their moral shortcomings. Stealing is stealing. I'm with Dave here. I too have large hands. Before I bought anything I tried several manufacturers and all size frames (remember in Canada we are limited to barrel lengths over 4" so compact and sub-compact frames are illegal). I decided that the perfect gun was a full frame Double Stack (10 rounds) I bought a Para-Ordinance 1445 Ltd. (Single Action) in Stainless, and a Para-Ordinance 1445 LDA Ltd. (Double Action Only) in stainless. I love the Para Ltd. series, they are only slightly more expensive than the stock guns, but have a lot of the custom extras standard from the factory. Ballistically, I think the .45 is probably the most versatile round you can shoot, and is not price prohibitive to shoot alot of rounds for practice. Yeah, I remember them. That's what Apple wanted me to buy since they discontinued the LISA even before they had shipped them. The original MAC OS made Win 9x look stable. I really liked the Bomb ICON when the OS blew it's brains out. At least Apple had a sense of humor, all Microsoft could do was make a screen turn blue. (I wish they had, I would love to have one in my museum) They did however tell me I should but one of their new wonder machines called MAC. Actually SOS (Sophistocated Operating System) was for the Apple III. The emulator was to let you run Apple II software on an Apple III. I curruntly Run the following OSes in production either at home or at work. QNX 2.x & 4.x SCO Xenix IBM OS/2 2.x, 3.x, 4.x & Warp Server SMP Windows NT 4.x (& Server), Win 2k (& Server), Win 2k3 Server, Win XP and am Testing Win 2k3 AMD64 prerelease (on Dual Opteron). FreeBSD 5.x My museum stuff is wide another matter, but includes the above Apple II & III (with a 5mb ProFile Hard Disk). Why the preference for dyeing vs. films? I would have thought that with all of the excellent optical quality films for automotive use that it would be far easier to apply and with the added benefit that it would provide scratch resistance for the lens. I am photo-sensitive and require either sunglasses or tinted lenses. Since I don't believe I can wear Sunglasses under any fullface helmet, Can you tell me about your tinting experiences? What films work best? and do you apply them to the outside of the visor to prevent scratches?
