  1. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/hispanics-lose-faith-democrats-over-inflation-us-elections-loom-2022-05-02/ “If the Republican Party has something better to offer us, I will vote Republican," said Aguirre. Republicans, he believes, are generally better economic stewards who could have more success in reducing prices. And it’s not just Hispanics https://www.newsweek.com/record-number-black-republicans-are-running-office-theyre-revolutionizing-gop-opinion-1715061 If demographics is destiny Democrats are doomed. (How’s that for an alliteration?)
  2. Two atoms were walking down the street when suddenly one exclaimed “Whoa! I just lost an electron!” The other atom queried, “are you sure?” To which the first one replied, “yes, I am positive” Better?
  3. https://news.grabien.com/story-girl-says-shes-non-binary-bird-because-birds-dont-inherently I would like to get BillV’s thoughts on this because I think he….uh….zie has said he….uh….zie identifies as a duck sometimes. Note to Wendy, the above is what we call a JOKE, “joke /jōk/ noun a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter,” not a personal attack. Just like the monkey pox meme. https://images.app.goo.gl/nNKZEyPi9RSQGLVE7 Please don’t give me a time-out (again) for a joke.
  4. https://michaelshellenberger.substack.com/p/why-biden-keeps-lying-about-energy “Biden falsely alleged that they were restricting refinery operations when they are, in reality, at 94% of the capacity and maintenance is being delayed.” “the US government, powerful banks, and major corporations, including Google, Amazon, and Facebook, have redirected investments away from oil and gas and toward renewables, including ethanol. Indeed, much of the loss of refinery capacity is because several refineries are being retrofitted to process biofuels rather than petroleum.”
  5. Direct quote, “The average global temperature in May was 1.46 degrees F (0.81 of a degree C) above the 20th-century average ranking as the ninth-warmest May on record — but the coolest May since 2013.”
  6. “The following week, I fill up my Jetta at a local Shell station. Gas is up to $4.08 a gallon. I inhale deeply. Fumes never smelled so sweet” https://www.wsj.com/articles/i-rented-an-electric-car-for-a-four-day-road-trip-i-spent-more-time-charging-it-than-i-did-sleeping-11654268401
  7. Since the protestors had no guns Pence was never in danger. Don’t forget the only person killed on January 6 was a small female veteran.
  8. According to NOAA the GLOBE is no warmer than it was nine years ago, so you might want to take that up with them. Don’t get upset at me, I’m just sharing what government climate scientists say.
  9. https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/national-media-release/cbp-releases-may-2022-monthly-operational-update?language_content_entity=en More than a million so far this year. AKA a fraction of the number Russia used to invade Ukraine.

  11. I’m not saying Germany no longer has aspirations to end the use of coal, I am saying that when it comes down to a choice between shuttering factories and freezing, and burning coal, they will/are choosing the latter.
  12. http://dlvr.it/SSXxdk?fbclid=IwAR3tfjaivgn69JeMgpFNDbFtcTt3WNgzHvKHE5v57zMMxzxvqXFyv26FQyU Get woke…Go Broke
  13. Agreed, illegal migration is how we got Trump. (And how we might get him again)
  14. My position is that economics trump ideology and any effort to overcome this simple reality are expensive, futile and counterproductive. (Germany going back to coal is a perfect example) As a Libertarian I fully support your personal choices, I just don’t want those choices to be foisted on the American people at the hand of a strong arming federal government.
  15. Nothing but insults and ad hominem* but if that’s all you got…that’s all you got *ad ho·mi·nem /ˌad ˈhämənəm/ adjective (of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining.
  16. Scientific consensus = oxymoron Consensus is not scientific. Consensus gave us eugenics, how did that work out? “No amount of experimentation (consensus) can ever prove me right; a single experiment (or observation) can prove me wrong.” Albert Einstein ““Trust the science” is the most anti science statement ever. Questioning science is how you do science” Linus Van Pelt
  17. My grandfather died of the same thing, but then again he was a two pack a day smoker (Winstons) As I posted earlier I am no great fan of coal, however given the choice of burning coal or having the lights go out, I would choose the former (just like most of the world)
  18. And in that article the Economy Minister, Robert Habeck does not mention wind and solar (that would be the parts that are between the quotation marks) https://wattsupwiththat.com/2022/06/19/german-green-party-announces-a-return-to-coal/
  19. 40%! Wow that is impressive! What is providing the other 60%? Meanwhile in Germany (A county with a much greater energy demand) German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck (Green Party): “That’s bitter, but it’s simply necessary in this situation to lower gas usage, To reduce gas consumption, less gas must be used to generate electricity. Coal-fired power plants will have to be used more instead,” the Economy Ministry said in a statement. No mention of wind and solar from a member of the Green Party!
  20. Let’s compare those who are suffering from some UNPRECEDENTED global warming issue, with those who are suffering from record gas prices and inflation. Let’s put them on a scale and decide just who is suffering more. I’ll let you make the call.
  21. Everyone will be fine. Unlike now where EVERYONE is suffering from D’s money party and war on fossil fuels. Unfortunately it is the lefties need to pull an imaginary crisis out of thin air, without evidence, that is causing pain to the vast majority of ordinary folks.
  22. It is noteworthy that no one addressed the substance of my post. Nothing but personal attacks and insults. I really don’t understand the deep psychological need for a climate crisis when there is little evidence of it.
