  1. Who said anything about Orbán? I just gave an example of how a robust physical barrier facilitated an end to a border crisis.
  2. Did Biden illegally retain classified documents, some all the way back from his time in the Senate? Clearly. I was asked to provide proof of Biden’s wrongdoing and I did. Just because Trump acted more egregiously, doesn’t give Biden a pass.
  3. Reinstate the remain in Mexico policy, require asylum seekers to apply at the U.S. embassy in their home country, eliminate sanctuary enclaves and listen to the border patrol agents when they request physical barriers to be placed where they are needed. (Not the Trump wall). If Hungary can do it why can’t we? OTOH we could just continue to transport illegals to sanctuary cities like we are doing now and listen to the sweet sounds of Democrat mayors howling.
  4. What are “hard core MAGA ideals”? Secure borders? Energy independence? Not wasting trillions on a futile attempt to control weather? I really want to know.
  5. I think I have made it clear that I am not a fan of Trump. I think there is ample evidence of wrongdoing on both Trump and Biden. Let’s take the example of the illegal possession of classified documents. You guys demand jail time for Trump while making excuses for Biden. When someone said “Still waiting for any proof of 'Biden's corruption” while the infestation is ongoing, I just pointed Trump has yet to be convicted of any crime and you guys go batshit crazy.
  6. That’s only correct 95%+ of the time ?
  7. Nothing you have said refutes anything I have said. Growth of EV demand is dropping, growth in wind generation is collapsing, and global coal use and domestic oil and gas production is increasing and renewables can’t keep pace with demand.
  8. Thank you Joe, but I don’t think I would cut it as a SC moderator. As a libertarian and free speech advocate, I would allow for the rough and tumble exchange of opinions and ideas. I would never ban someone for describing the attributes of an EV (or an AR) I would even allow the small minded name calling, as it reveals the weakness of the name-callers position. If all one can do is call someone a troll, one’s sauce is weak indeed.
  9. Just like Trump, lots of allegations, no convictions.
  10. All of that devastating drought has resulted in record agricultural production https://farmpolicynews.illinois.edu/2023/11/record-u-s-corn-harvest-expected-while-ukraine-grain-exports-fall-despite-recent-improvements/#:~:text=Corn stocks are projected to,previous estimate for 2.111 billion.
  11. China would love to have some of that weather https://www.reuters.com/world/china/parts-china-gripped-by-record-low-temperatures-icy-snap-intensifies-2023-12-17/ I’m sure your new sanctuary citizens appreciate the moderate temperatures. 52 degrees Fahrenheit doesn’t kill folks, negative 52 degrees Fahrenheit (as in China) does.
  12. No, just a rookie foodie who watches a bunch of videos and has an embarrassing amount of culinary toys
  13. Water in Bisquick? No, whole milk, (with some added vanilla) Coffee is a locally roasted blend of Estate and Ethiopian long berry, ground right before brewing. Bolognese is either an eight hour Sunday sauce or a one hour cheat in my instant pot during the week.
  14. I get it guys, y’all pissed off because your world view is falling down like so many dominoes. The rate of growth in EVs is slowing, wind projects cancelled globally, solar taking it in the shorts in California, coal usage skyrocketing, domestic oil production soaring and renewable energy unable to even meet growing global demand, let alone replacing fossil fuels. CO2 rates continue to rise yet the globe fails to deliver the much ballyhooed climate calamity. Your rage is understandable (yet humorous)
  15. You said “Democrats also believe in capitalism” I just pointed out that while that is true it is also true a even more Democrats believe in socialism.
  16. More than a tidbit “Just over seven months ago, the Gov. Gavin Newsom-appointed California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) made drast reductions to Net Energy Metering…17,000 jobs have or will be lost by the end of 2023 due the recent net metering changes. The massive job loss represents 22% of all solar jobs in California.” https://www.solarpowerworldonline.com/2023/12/calssa-california-to-lose-22-of-solar-jobs-by-end-of-year/ So much for those “good paying green jobs”
  17. WRONG! https://www.ogj.com/general-interest/economics-markets/article/14276813/rystad-us-oil-gas-employment-to-recover-in-2022 “US oil and gas employment is set to expand by 12.5% this year, rising to 971,000 total jobs by end 2022 from around 863,000, according to Rystad Energy research. The total number of jobs in 2027 is expected to hit 1.09 million, a marginal increase from the 1.07 million in the sector pre-COVID in 2019, the company said in a May 18 release.” https://www.rigzone.com/news/12100_new_jobs_in_texas_oil_and_gas_this_year_so_far-25-sep-2023-174116-article/ “The Texas upstream oil and natural gas industry has added 12,100 jobs in 2023, Texas Oil and Gas Association (TXOGA) noted in a media release, citing newly-released data from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). In August alone, employment in the sector rose by 1,200 jobs”
  18. “Nordic countries are often used internationally to prove that socialism works… their policies aren’t in fact socialist…Today, the Nordic social democrats have adopted stricter immigration policies, tightened eligibility requirements for welfare benefit systems, taken a tougher stance on crime, and carried out business-friendly policies.” Stricter immigration, tightened welfare requirements, tougher on crime and pro business??? Sounds like Republicans to me. https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/10/27/nordic-countries-not-socialist-denmark-norway-sweden-centrist/
  19. “WASHINGTON, D.C. -- For the first time in Gallup's measurement over the past decade, Democrats have a more positive image of socialism than they do of capitalism” https://news.gallup.com/poll/240725/democrats-positive-socialism-capitalism.aspx Not all but definitely most.
  20. So it is Democrats who are greedy short sighted capitalists bent on the destruction of the planet?
  21. You guys are like a bunch of third graders hurling insults at recess. Meanwhile let’s check in and see how that green energy transition is going… https://www.publicnewsservice.org/2023-12-18/environment/future-of-offshore-wind-in-lake-erie-in-flux-as-icebreaker-project-shelved/a87701-1 Ooops! Not so well!
  22. I’m sure those executives were at COP 28 and attended the seminar on sustainable yachting. BTW isn’t California run by a super majority of Democrats? The greedy executives could only get what they wanted if the greedy politicians and bureaucrats got theirs as well.
  23. Some more evidence https://intellectualtakeout.org/2017/04/the-progressive-roots-of-fascism/
