The problem with your analogy is that it presupposes inevitable population growth. Just look at any developed society, their population growth rates are zero to negative. This Malthusian notion of "we are all going to run out of...." is just soft thinking.

"Never wrestle with a pig, you both get dirty and the pig likes it." Good luck.

We rent hanger space at the market price, we pay rent for our office and the heated, airconditioned, padded and carpeted packing area. (The owner has a demolition business and we can pick up a lot of stuff from that) Our landing area doubles as a tiedown for planes and a camping area that has always been maintained by the airport authority. We are the cash cow for the airport. There is no ATC other than NYC and since jump planes don't have to be vectored in, we are not a burden. BTW we buy more fuel that anyone else at the airport.

Muller report over, no conviction on impeachment, football is finished, no current climate disasters, no recession, trade wars ending.

If one believes human behavior is responsible for climate related disasters, then it follows reason that control of human behavior can prevent them. That is why the non-problem of AGW has morphed into a religion on the left. The idea of being able to control human behavior by controlling their access to energy (and increasingly food) is so appealing. An EU commissioner even said "even if the science is wrong the policy is right"

I support EVERY items listed above. But Bill is a bit confused, he is conflating classical liberalism with progressivism. Bill is definitely NOT a liberal in the classical sense. (and neither are you) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_liberalism
-
WOW Bill we are almost totally simpatico. You sound more like a Libertarian than a flaming progressive.

The Saint Mitt came from a sign I saw at a protest today, at the gates of the university. The Hitler comment was admittingly a bit hyperbolic, but it capsulized the feeling of the Dems at the time. With regard to the robots, they were just voting they way their constituents told them to.
-
How does Mitt go from Hitler personified to Saint Mitt in eight short years, in the eyes of Democrats?

There is a big difference between racial and racist. Just ask Dave Chappelle (but don't ask Clayton Bigsby)

It was consistent with my original statement “...every African American in Iowa behind him” and there were six behind him. Reading comprehension indeed. BTW it was just a humorous observation, not to be taken literally. It just means Mayor Pete has his eye on South Carolina.

I didn’t agree with them, but if it works, I will admit I was wrong.

Just like a petulant child.

What non-stop lies? I heard some exaggerations but for the most part it was a list of demonstrable accomplishments.

You are being ridiculous now, by your logic the government subsidizes you by providing roads. (That you pay for)
-
I did, sub·si·dy /ˈsəbsədē/ noun plural noun: subsidies 1. a sum of money granted by the government or a public body to assist an industry or business so that the price of a commodity or service may remain low or competitive. As we never got a penny, it is safe to say we did not get any subsidies

I expected Trump to pull down his pants, take a dump and start throwing turds at the Dems, I could have not been more wrong. He is killing it!

Sunk cost, Google it.
-
That was here when we started, it is called a sunk cost. All we have done is mitigate that cost
