  1. Modern sporting rifle = AR-15 platform http://congressionalsportsmen.org/policies/state/modern-sporting-rifle It is better to remain silent and let people think you are uninformed, than to chime in and remove all doubt.
  2. I didn’t say “it” said anything, I let his website speak for itself.....Let’s not trifle in the minutia, it diminishes Biden’s record shattering gun sales record.
  3. Uh, I cut and pasted it from his website
  4. Is it irrational to believe that Biden will do what he promised to do? It is right there on his website.
  5. The irony. The party that wants to limit access to certain types of weapons being responsible for the sale of millions of those weapons.
  6. Those guys and a little something I like to call the 2nd Amendment.
  7. So they are just pandering to their sheep?
  8. Not the NRA, this is right off of the Biden Harris website. ”As president, Biden will: Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Joe Biden will enact legislation to once again ban assault weapons. This time, the bans will be designed based on lessons learned from the 1994 bans. For example, the ban on assault weapons will be designed to prevent manufacturers from circumventing (AKA abiding by) the law by making minor changes that don’t limit the weapon’s lethality. While working to pass this legislation, Biden will also use his executive authority to ban the importation of assault weapons. Regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act. Currently, the National Firearms Act requires individuals possessing machine-guns, silencers, and short-barreled rifles to undergo a background check and register those weapons with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Due to these requirements, such weapons are rarely used in crimes. As president, Biden will pursue legislation to regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act. Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities. Biden will also institute a program to buy back weapons of war currently on our streets. This will give individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act” So is Biden lying to you or is he lying to me? BTW the vast majority of firearms sold in the US are semiautomatics with high (AKA standard) capacity magazines.
  9. So even Dems are smart enough to be able to take steps to protect themselves when their local government will not. It is the municipalities in the hands of the Democrats that are burning. 70+million Republicans were disappointed in the election, cities burned = zero.
  10. No, it was BLM, ANTIFA, “defund the police” and Biden’s pledge to confiscate sporting rifles and standard capacity magazines. If it was Trump, sales would not have skyrocketed AFTER the election.
  11. Biden easily passes Obama as the politician responsible for record gun sales. https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/nics_firearm_checks_-_month_year.pdf/view
  12. I was responding to the post that directly preceded mine. ”Dude, he is right on all of his points and your response is mumbo jumbo. Enough with the "competently trained people" argument. Outside of the military no one is competently trained or current.” I hope this clarifies things and is why I mentioned Jerry Miculek.
  13. My post was in response to the claim that no one other than the military is trained and is proficient in the handling of firearms. I never mentioned an 18 YO from the inner city. BTW that comment has very racist undertones.
  14. Just who’s responsibility is it to make those distinctionsa
  15. Not true, a former team leader in my unit went on to a very successful career in Delta, then retired and went on to establish his own “private security firm” and is now a civilian teaching operators how to operate. Just watch a video of Jerry Miculek, and tell me that a civilian doesn’t know how to handle a firearm.
  16. Sorry to re-burst your bubble, he will not be indicted, so no need for a pardon.
  17. Just what charges are you guys talking about? You seem to be as confident in Trumps criminality, as you were with his collusion with the Russians. How did that work out for you? Being a mindless, egomaniacal, douchebag while being reprehensible is not illegal.
  18. Not conspiracy theories, influenced peddling. Or did Hunter Get tens of millions of dollars because he was an oil and gas expert?
  19. What crimes? Collusion? We spent two years and millions of dollars only to find nothing. Perjury? No, that was Bill Clinton. Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or materials, as well as State Department protocols and procedures, and regulations governing record keeping? No, that would be HRC.
  20. Sorry to bust your bubble, but nobody is going to prison.
  21. I’ll take that bet for no other reason than I would like to buy you a drink.
  22. What crap? Do you mean the crap like Hunter Biden pulled? Or do you mean the real nasty stuff done by the Clinton Foundation? Or are you so blind/gullible/obtuse that you can’t see the similarities?
  23. I was joking about the apology. In all seriousness, if Trump was a guilty as many wish him to be, he will be convicted as easily as HRC was. We need to stop criminalizing our political differences. #moveon
