Skydive Balaton in Siofok, Hungary. Mi-8 helos!! Fly out over the lake. Fun times!

It's a Lenovo T520 laptop, 64-bit, 8 GB, Win7 Pro, IE 11. I also frequently see something like 'googleads.doubleclick.net' in the status bar at the bottom when things are stuck. I can't scroll up/down the page or navigate within the window. I often have to force close it via Task Mgr. I've been trying Firefox 64.0 the last couple of days and it doesn't seem to exhibit the problems.
-
I also get this msg often: 'dropzone.com is not responding due to a long-running script.'
-
I frequently have problems navigating the site because there's so many ads on each page and my browser seems to get wedged. How about reducing the ad count and frequency of updates, or something. At times I find it almost unusable.

Nothing, but some DZ's may require a "C" for certain jumps. I knew one DZ that required a "C" for balloon jumps and another that required it for beach jumps (The only reason I got a "C", I skipped A and B). Jumping at Moab, for example, requires a B, C or even a D license for some of the off-site jumps...for reasons other than formation jump numbers...namely, the expectation that you can land in a tight/rough area in potentially sketchy wind conditions...oh, and without killing others on the load or non-jumpers on the ground...

Old-school is cool! Gimme WinXP and the original look of iOS. I still have 4.x on a iPhone 3GS, just because. I also have a laptop with XP. Albums, cassettes and 8-tracks are cool too, along with Betamax! And CDs! New isn't always better. Mostly it's just marketing to convince people to spend their money chasing the latest and greatest...

I went from a Spectre-150 to a WinX-170 for wingsuiting. It packs about the same. All ZP fabric.

I highly recommend Out of the Blue. They have an awesome King Air that climbs like an elevator. It's a B200, which has a high T-tail. Skydive Empire closed several years ago. -
Anyone know of the possibility of jumping in western Nebraska, specifically Alliance? I heard there's going to be a lot of people flying in there. I live in Colorado. If I decide to make the trek, which the saner side of me says I shouldn't even contemplate, I'll bring my gear and see if I can convince someone to take me up. It'd be an awesome wingsuit jump!!

I'm all set for the Great Canadian Free Fall Festival. Who else from here is going? -
Glidersports Memorial weekend boogie

Oh, you have/had to sign up in advance for the $99 deal? Is it too late now? Do/did you have to pay in advance? How much are jumps if it is too late? I didn't see anything on their website about it, just the BSM article. -

Boogies in Canada [Help me find them!]

Looks like some fun events! How would you rank the following, as in not-to-miss? I'm primarily a wingsuiter. Looking for great aircraft, scenery, decent weather, a good vibe, evening shenanigans and beer, eh. Kinda like Lost Prairie of the north... Great Canadian Free Fall Festival Northwest Boogie Boobies Boogie Leaning towards Okanagan for the timing and scenery. Didn't see anything on their website about the event. Any details anyone can share are welcome. Cheers! -
I contacted PIA...not many presentations there, though... http://www.pia.com/member-news

At the PIA Symposium they said demos would be available around April, as I recall. I'm looking forward to demoing it. I jump a Spectre 150 now and would probably upsize to a Horizon 170, given the lower pack volume (low-bulk/ZP hybrid). Bigger is better... :o)
