My DZ.com pet peeve is when I go to change my avatar and forget that you have to clear your browser cookies and close IE and reopen it for the new one to show up. Our DZ is 5 minutes away from the University.

I did a jump in my boxers for my 100th, I might have done it naked but my girlfriend came with me to the DZ that day and she was mortified enough that I was doing it in my boxers. Anyway, stuff was flapping around in freefall and the boxers all but came off so I was naked when I was in the air. Some girl tried to stop me from getting in the door because my shorts were unzipped (over my rig), I just laughed at her and threw them at here before hopping out. Hi I'm the president of the Clemson Skydiving club. We have to sign a release of liability waiver with our Club Sports dept. before members can join. It may also help if you tell them that when members join USPA they get the 3rd party insurance policy. If you have friends in the administration contact them and see if they can help. Also, alumni leverage can be very helpful and a source of funding as well. So if you know any alums or anyone who is thinking of joining the club does exploit that. Also, if you exist as a non-university recognized entity for a year or two without any problems they may be more inclined to recognize/fund you. I have no religion, though I went to Catholic school and was raised Methodist. I respect everyones right to believe whatever they want and hope that they would do the same for me. I was raised in the south in a racist environment but I think that everyone should be equal and hope that one day the hate in this world can stop. I landed in a field full of cows on an off spot and they all trotted over from one side of a field and lined up in a big line perpendicular to me and started mooing. A couple of them had horns too. I went to Tri-State for a coach's course with a couple of my club members. We had a great time, they brought in a great instructor (Rastas!) and they were amazingly hospitious. Track into WV and back into OH at Tri-State skydivers, right on the Ohio River.

First off dropzone landing! Winds were doing something unexpected and got drift in the direction opposite we thought they were. I was last open (noone else tracked very far because we were so far out) at 2.5 . The guy highest up road his risers in and a recent a-licensee made it back on his manta 290 over to near the DZ but didn't make it across the road because they didn't want to brave the newly installed barbed-wire fence. (Damned stupid homeland defence crap, like any determined person couldn't cut a hole big enough for a small car with a pair of wire snips.) It's already been the source of two almost mishaps. At around 1.5k I made the decision that I wasn't going to make it back to anywhere nearer to the DZ so I picked a nice safe cow field. Incidentally it was one of my planned "outs" because I had been there before when I was searching for my ex-girlfriend after her AAD fire on one of her student jumps. Also that same ex was second lowest and decided to follow me in. Everything went fine, and the cows all trotted over to check us out. They were cool they all lined up in a long line and mooed at us from about 30 yards. Case of beer for me and a relearning of the lesson of pay attention to where you are relative to the ground in case you need to pull high. Yea, water training is pretty easy. I think you just have to have an S&TA give a training class where you get in the water geared up and someone throws a parachute over your head. You follow a seam to the edge of the parachute and swim out of the harness. You also review water landing procedures.
