That low jump nervousness goes away. I felt my knees really knock for the first time since my training when I did my balloon jump in Rantoul this summer. I still get nervous when I'm with a group that has an objective, 'cause I don't want to mess everything up. Dad's can rock too! My dad bought me a rig for Christmas over my Mom's head ( she still doesn't know) because she doesn't really like me skydiving. However she does buy into audible alt's and helmets because they are "safety items".

My dad always says its easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. I told my parents I was going to but not exactly when. I made sure the DZ had all the work/cell/home numbers they would need in case anything ever happened. Ronnie Allie : Put me out on my first static line. Adam Baier: Great guy, ran the skydiving club here before me and taught (is teaching still) me alot about skydiving. Gene Stuart: Didn't know how great of a guy he was till he was gone, hopefully he will be back soon. Awesome flier, inspires me to be better. Rastas! : My Coach's Course instructor, showed me what real flying was and gave me confidence to teach my students. Too many more to list... Yea we've ventured down to ASC a few times now. I did my 100th down there and the cute manifest babes were trying to convince me to do it nekkid, but my gf threatened to disown me so I just did it in my boxers. Not that everything wasn't flapping around anyway (sorry no pictures). The girl in the middle is Kristin. You might remember Steve too but he doesn't belong on this thread . This is going to be hard to describe without showing you, but once you have it on the ground and are getting ready to put it in the bag: Instead of making your first fold from the bottom and then making the other fold and bringing it on top, try making the last fold first and putting it in the bag by itself. Then make the first s-fold last and slide it in towards the middle. Dang that's really hard to describe in words. Hope it helps. It's all in controlling the fabric. Yea, I owe some. Just got my first rig a coupla weekends ago and jumped it for the first time last weekend. Mirage G3 M4 , Cobalt 150. Finally a free-flyable rig, so now I just have to quit flipping around like a fish out of water and I can start sit-flying. (There was too much alcohol intake this weekend for jumping as it was my dad's 50th and Clemson beat FSU, plus when I went by Chester on my way back to school everyone decided to leave and they didn't have enough for an Otter load [bastards -- that was 2 hours out of my way]).
