I realize all the below questions have probably been asked and answered in this or other forums, but finding the threads then reading all of them, I would rather take the chance asking again. These questions come from a discussion of experienced (non - rigger) skydivers. I have a few questions concerning reserve canopies. I would greatly appreciate any and all serious answers. Question: Reserve Canopy Colors. (I see a lot of solid white, light (sky) blue, yellow, orange). Of course it should be easily distinguishable from a main. What solid color reserve is most recommended by riggers and why? Is there a color that is easier to inspect the fabric and attachment points? What are the concerns of having one color over another? (UV, visibility) Question: Reserve Canopy size. (main is 170, exit weight is 215) I realize this will come down to an individuals own comfort level, but I am wondering if there are any points that were not already being thought of. If a person fits the exit weight and experience recommendations for both the PDR160 and PDR176 and flying and landing either is not an issue. Having a small rig, or what the canopy size sound like in a conversation is not an issue. So from a purely practical standpoint, would you be better off with the 176 or 160. There is the thinking of more fabric over head is better, for several reasons. What are some other thoughts, either way? Question: Tandem passenger harness. On a Tandem system, is the passenger harness part of the TSO'ed Tandem rig, so therefore must be inspected every 120 days just like the Tandem harness and canopies. I say yes, am I right? I have a curiosity question. The upcoming annual Wings Over Houston air show will once again have skydiving along with everything else. Who heads up the skydiving activities?? Who are some of the jumpers?? Thanks..

Hey Caroline, Just saw this post. Congrats on getting the A number. One of these days we will have to jump each other, I mean with each other. So what is your number anyway, your A number that is. Another beautiful skydiving woman, gotta love it. Be safe and look good.

Speaking of Costco. I just saw a news article stating they are now carrying caskets. They will be in the bedding department. So you might not be able to buy that jug of Jasper, but if you knock someone off at 3 in the morning, you can go straight to your 24 hr Costco, get the casket and bury the evidence proper.

You ever sit in meetings where others around the conference table just cannot help to talk about how they always give more than 100%. How they are just more important than others and truth is they give less and are more expendable. Here's a little math that might prove helpful. What makes life 100%? Hmmm.. There have been several. But one that comes to mind is Six Flags Astroworld in Houston. In the middle of the afternoon riding in one of those two person gondalas (sp?) going from one side of the park to the other. She pulled my shorts down and went at it. Very nice in deed, does make for a quickie though.

That tunnel is very loud. Unless you get the thing way, way, away, you will get tired of hearing it. Not sure if it would run after dark, but the neighbors and any live band would not appreciate it. Dont forget to put up alot of safety signs. The air above and around will be very dangerous for any canopy coming over to close.
