AAHHH, just getting now to read all my emails, comments, etc. Thank you all for coming out and for making us look really good...lool Yes, we were lucky getting good weather as the set up days was raining like crazy and we could not set up. It's always a pleasure to plan this event for such an excellent crowd.!!* Thanks to Scott, Justin and Jeff N. for organizing and keeping everyone safe and to all the hard work and time Matt H. and Scotty B. put on these pictures. So can anyone tell me how are beach jumps going to run for the duration of the boogie? depending on winds...they usually do one beach load mid day and one at sunset... i could be wrong but this is just how i remember it.. Hi, Beach Jumps are usually done in the afternoon, depending on winds as mentioned above and the number of jumpers wanting to do it as it takes a while to get back to the airport. Others are doing jumps w/organizers or doing coaching jumps, etc. Usually everyone wants to be on the sunset load (which is impossible ) but we start manifesting mid afternoon to have a few loads back to back. So you may end up doing from 1-2 beach loads daily. Sometimes we do hop n pops so everyone can do it. 4 Days to Go!* Viviana

Hi, As mentioned earlier we don't usually pre-manifest for any of the High-Alti jumps but we have made an exception this year and I am informing that the load on Fri. is completely full. More people are registered, I believe we have 140+ (including non-jumpers), but almost all hotels are full and I know a lot of people are staying at houses so, hopefully, we can break our record of 300 jumpers...

Hello everyone! It's time again to begin making plans for the Puerto Rico Boogie, Feb. 11-15, 2009! This next year we will have Two Chicago Otters, great skydives, beach jumps daily, Wednesday night Welcoming Party to set the atmosphere at a local Rest.; Rums of Puerto Rico Friday night Party (free Rum), Saturday night Medalla Light Party with live music, catering and did I mention free Medalla Light nightly!; a raffle with great prices and much more. -> Organizers from all disciplines will be available: FF-Jimmy T., Luis Prinetto and Amy Chmelecki; RW-Guy Wright and Tom Schroder; and WingSuit-Scott Bland and Justin Schorb. Coaching Jumps available* -> Vendors will be present to demo their products, canopies, and representatives for wingsuits will be available for first flight instructions.
