Best thing I have found is a couple of drops of Olbas oil in my full face, great for two reasons, the first is I can't smell my own "contributions" the second is that all the free flyers jump open face helmets so can I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

It really upsets me when you read about people throwing weighted dogs into rivers to drown them. If you can't look after them don't get them, if you don't want them give them to the RSPCA. I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

I have not had a problem with taking my rig as hand luggage when flying to Spain but I believe that it is unwise to try it when flying to USA as the security guards have no sense of humour and will start asking a lot of questions like -can you open the top bit up so I can have a look inside? I've got a spectre and it took me a few jumps to figure out the best way to land it. When there is ni wind I start the flare slightly higher and progressively flare further than on windy days where the lower forward speed means I don't have to flare as much to stop. Best advice though, get videod for several landings and get a decent coach to look at them. I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

The interesting thing would be to see how the stats varied - both between countries with different safety standards and over time as new safety measures came in. For example has the cyprus saved more lives than have been lost with the rise of the hook turn. And if in doubt don't jump with someone who has about 40,000 jumps as it is 50:50 which one of you will go in on the next jump I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine.... -
Have just bought myself a cheap (e-bay) PC7. I want to use it to film my fs students. I wouldn't mind using it to record fs jumps and don't freefly. I normally jump in a factory diver. What would be a good helmet to look for - and does anyone have one going cheap I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

The second fastest way to learn is by making mistakes. think about what went wrong and concentrate on correcting the error so you can improve. The fastest way is to bounce as you NEVER make the mistake again I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

When I was at uni a top sport was the random inclusion of a word or phrase in someone's essay. Wait til they left their computer for a minute then insert the words. No-one ever proof reads a uni essay and the joy of imagining the prof reading this was large. Now I realise I didn't even need to spell check the essays. Can I count double, Spectre 150 and a fury 220, which one I jump depends on whether I want nice soft openings and forward movement or the fastest pack job in the west. I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

I haven't lost my mind, I just pack it up with my rig at the end of the weekend and leave it there until the next weekend. That stops it getting polluted with stuff like work and money when it needs to concentrate on dive pools, blocks and .... and ..... damn, shoud have left a couple of braincells out. I beleive that Empuria do a downwind run sometimes depending on the wind direction in order to stop people being thrown out over the town or being blown too far over the town. ADAM I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

Do be V careful with your ears. If they are blocked and you jump not only could they be very painful for the next few days but you could burst the eardrum. Take tablets to clear your ears but if you are not sure do not jump, it aint worth the pain. ADAM I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

How was your experience taking the rig as carry on

The security people were once concerned when I refused to open "the top bit on my rucksack" but other than that no problems. A Spanish security bloke once called his mate and I thought I was in trouble but turns out he used to jump and just wanted to explain what the bits did. The main problem I have is carrying the strips of lead for my wieght vest as they get concerned when the x-ray machine shows strips of dark material which could be confused with something else -
