    Used cars

$12,000 for a 04 Sebring!!!!! That salesperson is prob still getting high 5's from his buddies!!!!! As a mechanic I have a love hate thing with those cars...hate them because they are junk...but love them because they make me lots of money
  3. My post was half in jest awaiting the responce from the resident DZ.com skygods..who would normally rip you a new asshole for asking such a question... What is your wingload on the 190? and on the 150? (save me the math )
  4. Who are you? How many jumps do you have? What licence do you have? How many jumps on the 190? Can you land downwind? Can you land crosswind? Can you land uphill? Is your mother hot? Can you do a flare turn at 50ft? Who told you to go to a 150 because of LZ altitude difference? Can you tell us the difference between knowing what to ask on DZ.com and what not to ask? Do you have a hot sister? Do you have a thick skin?
  5. This. They are morons. Agreed....get caught and draw attention to skydivers just wanting to carry on rigs without hassle. Lets try not to fuck things up for all.
  6. We have a Baptist Minister who is a fairly regular jumper...he has a CSPA B CoP and a little over a hundred jumps. Great guy...tolerates the DZ atmosphere but has reminded me and others to please be more careful with our language around him and esp when his wife is there... He has a white RW suit and we call him the Holy Ghost
  7. Just called the Orlando tunnel as we have time booked this coming fri and sat...I was informed they are up and running.

  9. I think Remi has it right. but why not just send a email to cop@cspa.ca and get it straight from the source
  10. I went through 4 months of ABVD chemo a few years back during the jump season. I had my best jump year ever to that point.....did 76 jumps and dispatched 120 IAD students. Chemo effects different people in different ways, I was one of the lucky ones and didn't let it slow me down.
  11. this is why the pub is good...what you say... does not stay forever
  12. now why did you throw the bottle in the garbage? up here in the frozen north we recycle....
  13. Kinda hard to have an opening at 3 when you're exiting at 2, eh? Yeah. I just think it's nuts - well, overkill - to exit at 2,700 and go right to silver. I would agree with you. But as one of those law type guys....what would you tell a student? edited to add: the SIM nor PIM does not care if you are in freefall or on a clear and pull....it is MINIMUM opening altitude.
  14. I don't have my "I" rating, but I think that's an unnecessarily high hard-deck for a true "clear & pull", even for a student, even in these days of higher pull altitudes and snivelly canopies. What do you instructors out there (especially the long-timers) think? As per the USPA SIM, minimum opening altitude for students is 3000ft.... so instructing a student to go to reserve on a 3000ft exit is not unwarranted....
