At least they did not get eaten by coyotes like the puppies some yuppie scum dumped at the end of my friends driveway 1/4mile from their house! She said she wished I was there and was able to put a few into that bastard before he made the turn, + 1 on putting on in the bastard. We were amazed that those pups survived as long as they did with all the packs of coyotes in the immediate area. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

You got that 24 hour thing right. After two weeks it was almost impossible to give those three pups up, hell, we'd even named them. I cried a little bit after leaving the shelter. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

I can relate to that, three weeks ago we took in four little lab puppies that some asshat dumped on the side of the road that our farm is on. Kept them for two weeks trying to find homes with no luck so we took three of them to a local non kill rescue shelter and kept one. They took them to an adoption at Petsmart last Saturday and placed them all.

Our dog was run over in the road in front of our house three years ago and my eyes still tear up sometimes I walk by his grave. He has since been replaced by three others.

I know all that Dave, I'm just saying that "just grass" ain't the sole cause of all that violence you mentioned and I further know that legalizing "just grass" won't solve all the other problems you brought up that this thread isn't about. The whole thing is just about tax money the government isn't getting than the simulated concern over people's welfare. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

Even that image was an agonizing one in my childhood mind. I will not even put a bell on my kitty's neck. What being wants to walk around jingling all the time? Bells are cruel. They are why I do not donate to the Salvation Army. Even when one is paid to jingle, it is still--ironically--inhumane. Glad someone finally came out and said it, +1. Saw him twice in the Experience days and thought both shows were somewhat thin as compared to what he was selling on LPs back then. Sound systems weren't quite there at that stage to flesh out a three piece band in a 15,000 seat arena. More like your basic blues band with some feedback. The man could pick though. She looks just like one of four lab pups we found two weeks ago wanderrng down the country road we live on. Looks like somebody drove them out here and dumped them, F'n bastards!! We now have them living with our other three and trying to find homes for them but if we don't, we've got plenty of room and they're welcome to stay. Let's see, seven dogs and four cats........anybody need a two month old Lab puppy?

I just finished having a root canal done on a tooth that had to be crowned which makes three root canal/crown jobs i've had total. My experience was the only thing that was painful was the numbing out process because they have to go soooo deep with the injections but it really wasn't unbearable. Afterward, my jaw was sore for a few days, kind'a like if feels after getting a right cross to the jaw. Anyway, the week's worth of oxycodine they gave me afterward made things just about right. As far as temp. crowns go, you can do pretty much what you do normally but do avoid hard, sticky candy and you might want to avoid eating ice. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

The guy's 90 years old and earned it for god's sake. Unless he's bugling "Reveille" at raising and "To The Colors" at lowering, you'd think the HOA could look the other way for a year or two then he'd most likely be gone and they wouldn't look like such uncaring assholes. First, do as Squeak said and don't buy them. I quit cold turkey two years, two months, eight days, thirteen hours and twenty minutes ago. I think by keeping track of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years has helped a lot and keeps me challenged to keep going. I do agree with Aggie Dave that I don't consider myself an ex smoker, just someone who isn't smoking at this particular moment in time. Seldom do I get an urge for a smoke anymore but when i do, that old time since I quit thing clicks in my head and that urge goes away but I don't think it'll ever completely go away. Used the same gimmick to quit drinking two months, eighteen days, 10 hours and 12 minutes ago.

Any chance that you could hire in home, 24/7 caregivers and have your in laws continue to live at home? After checking out the "nursing home" scene and the nightmare that it was, we did that with my mom and dad and the quality of their final years was much better in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Overall, price wise it was slightly less expensive than the alternative. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

Why am I thinking he jumped at Seagoville for a while, and also thinking Amarillo TX is where he had the DZ??? I know, I was just a kid.....but.... It may have been Louie's son, think his name was Tony, who jumped at a few meets at S'ville.
