Noone ever ASKED to use it, and I'm freakin starving for web design work over here! They dont even offer any form of gratitude anywhere on the site including the "shout outs" page. I've e-mailed the dude, and I know he's here too, so if your reading this, you know what you can do. have a nice day everyone! Spread the LOVE! oh, the dudes name on here is Medster, newbie, 11 post graphc thief. .....there is no spoon http://www.cyberskydive.com

Yes Pyke is another sel proclaimed "lesbian trapped in a mans body"-lol thats why i said that; I did some interviewing today, what a load of crap. Walked into a few small auto shops. The way it looks, the 4 years I spent learning how to work on cars is going to get me a job in the automotive department at Wal-Mart. Great, I can explain to all the customers how a powertrain control module simply uses transistors to grounds to vary the voltage output to various sensors. And that data between Modules is sent through class 2 serial cables, and that the cool stereo they just bought and hooked up to one of those cables just frien thier computers. How zener diodes only allow electrical current to pass in one direction, how the rectifier bridge helps to convert dc current to Ac current, and how pulse width modulation works with your Electronic Braking Traction Control Module. I can tell them why they shouldnt buy that cheap antifreeze for their new Impala because ir runs to hot and will corrode thier cooling system faster than the factory antifreeze, and that thier new corvette is made for Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil, and that the cheap oil they are buying will ruin thier 60k car. Oh, and yeah, all the oil changers here just got trained by the penzoil guy today, so check your oil before you leave to make sure they remembered to fill it up. Fuck me .....there is no spoon http://www.cyberskydive.com

Makes ya wonder, thats for sure. I've often wondered that myself. I'm the older of 3 from a family most would consider "dysfunctional." While me myself could have definately made some better decisions growing up, I wouldnt trade it for anything. My brother and sister are both 6+ years younger than me and although our home environment growing up was not what some would call ideal, they are some of the best / smartest kids anyone could hope for. They , in my opinion, have superior decision making skills, and they are vry goal oriented, without even thikning about it. I think maybe, with them growing up in an environment that exposes alot of the things in the world not taught in classrooms, and with a family who doesnt try to hide things from them or shelter them, but instead teaches them and helps them understand, that the kids grow up not looking for something they have never had. Instead they are more knowledgable? If that makes any sense at all-lol I'm sure there are as many arguments to this as there is "envoronment variables" in the world-lol Two people can see the exact same thing and interpret it differently. The wild hairy dynamics of the human race-lol "dont try to bend the spoon, that is impossible. Instead only realize the truth... .....there is no spoon http://www.cyberskydive.com

I think his sister is a veg, and a lesbian, so they are more alike than they'll ever wanna admit-lol I was surprised that moving to Texas and all, the beef people-lol, that there aren't more jobs here in that field. But I have to say, I'm prolly still better off jobwise than Atlanta. .....there is no spoon http://www.cyberskydive.com

HEY! I worked parts too- and beleive me I've tried to squirm ontop any position at a dealership I could squirm into-lol The part about girls not knowing about cars is bogus. My automatic transmission instructor at the gm center in Atlanta is a female. And SHE is one of the most kick ass mechanics I have ever seen, guess thats why shes an instructor. http://www.cyberskydive.com/

Need a freakin job? I do! You wouldnt believe how hard it is to freakin get work in ANY of the fields i have experience in. First off there are alot of if's, which suck, bad, because "if" I could do this or "if" I had that I would have no problem getting a job at all! So in the spirit of Anns Skydiver network, I'm gonna post 3 career fields I have experience in. I'm looking to work in the Houston Area. Help a brother out! K, one of my first jobs in life was as a butcher, cutting up dead animals (for pykes vegetarian family)-lol Not my first choice but I knew this would always be a viable fallback (or so I thought). I've extensive experience in the grocery store business including management and loss prevention etc. I can hack up cows, pigs, sheep, chicken whatever, into pieces so people will think they are pretty and want to buy them-lol. Anyone need deer processing? k I got tired of the cold bloody hell of a meat market and went to go get greasy learning how to work on cars. Mainly because my first car was a 69 VW bug and I pretty much had to learn how to work on it. I went to Athens Area Tech (in georgia) for the Automotive Technology program. I spent about a year there before they ended the program, so no degree. I got a job at a respected cheverolet dealership who specialized in Corvettes. There I went thru tons of factory GM training better than anything I could have ever got at a technical school. Went on to work for other dealerships including VW and Izuzu. All that is great right? I would have a job tommorow if I had about 4 grand worth of tools! I sold all my tools back to the tool devils when I quit working on cars. So if anyone needs work done on thier car, bring it over here. I'll get it done one way or the other. I'd be willing to change oil if someone would let me borrow thier wrench -lol Last off I can design websites - cheap. I'm in the process of rebuilding my portfolio in hopes of snagging a job here locally. If you need someone who can use Adobe products, macromedia products, quark, etc drop me a line. I also attended Dekalb Tech in Ga in thier computer programming course, but didnt finish, because I was paying for it myself and got broke. I'm fluent in HTML (hard coding and WYSIWYG) and CSS. I consider myself to be intermediate in PHP, javascript, and perl. Getting better every day. In the future I look to be completely fluent in an array of the more popular programming languages. Just becasue I actually like it-lol. So there ya go, wtf cant I find a job? http://www.cyberskydive.com/

Make sure your not trying to use a CDRW as well, CDRW's can only be read by computer type cd players, which have stronger lasers. Use CDR's for music. CDRW's for data, but you can use cdr's for data too. If you think the cd player in your car is he problem, put the cd in a few other cd players, preferrably newer ones, and see if it works there. I've never seen a cd player capable of playing music from CDRW's tho. Chances are, if the CD wont play in any cd player, the cd is the problem and not the cd player obviously. http://www.cyberskydive.com/

Like I said I'm no expert, but this information came to me from a respected fellow jumper / rigger. A friend of ours had a hard cutaway at the san carlos boogie in mexico last year, when they inspected the risers they found the loop too short, may have been older model risers or something, or maybe just a mistake, I dunno, but they did replace the risers with RW risers because of this. I guarantee you if it was done, he did it for a reason, whatever that reason may be. Like I said, I'm not a rigger, and I'm not dissing anyones gear. I dont think this is an isolated incident, but I could be wrong. Your right, technical question anyone may have should be directed to the manufacturer, AND your rigger. http://www.cyberskydive.com/

Ok, so it was a LOOONG pause-lol But during that time , or by the time I started smoking again, I was able to run 10 miles a day. Thats pretty much how I quit cold turkey. Every time I had a craving I would go run. Could barely get a mile in when I started, and I just kept adding on as I went. I was talking with a recruiter and planning to go into the marine corps at the time. In Dec of 96, on my 49th jump I landed in a tree on the outside edge if a small field near Skydive Monroe in Georgia. I broke my talus - ouch! (land safe not close-lol) I havent ran since, and started back smoking http://www.cyberskydive.com/

I think disabling javascript is going a little overboard just to rid popup windows. there are many more uses for javascript that are widely used. The solution is to be able to control popup windows. I use a program called popup stopper. I got it free from downloads.com. Go to downloads.com and search for popup stoppers and find one suitable to your needs. Many are freeware and are usually really small programs. If I need to have a popup window open all I have to do is hold down trhe shift key when I click on a link, this way I dont have to keep getting into the browser properties. http://www.cyberskydive.com/

I was able to make it kinda work at http://www.cyber.sunraydesigns.com/dropzone.php I think if you went this route, to make it work you'd have to have some of the dz.com html code copied to your server, use absolute urls for images and any other required things, change all the links to reflect the php includes eg. http://www.yoursite.com/dz.php?go=dropzone or http://www.yoursite.com/dz.php?go=forum and use something similar to the code below: not a complete explanation by any means, but with minimal effort you should be able to do this, and make the forums work anyhow. For avid dz.com users you could start by just enabling reading /posting, at least then they could get to it from work! -lmfao http://www.cyberskydive.com/
-
maybe you could just use a php include? -lol ?> require ('http://www.dropzone.com'); ?> You would have to prolly include each link for each page individually? I have no Idea if this would work tho, its 6 am-lol for that matter you prolly could use SSI, maybe HH would be interested in providing a mirror based on your ideas? http://www.cyberskydive.com/
