I may have missed it but does her mother support her wish to go skydiving? -
Funny how you know how he uses it as a crutch. Unfortunately, most of the time, he stays with my parents and they also use it as a crutch. When he's here with me and he gets in trouble he'll reply, "I couldn't help it! I didn't take my medicine" (we try not to give it to him too much on the weekends) He's very difficult, due much to his 'condition'. My SO thinks he'd get over the dependency (he calls it) if he'd just stop taking the medicine and listen to and do what he's told when he's told when he's told to do it It's hard to tell if his attention span is truely so small that he forgets what you've told him within minutes (or even seconds) or whether it's a put on.

My oldest son had severe ADHD. We've tried everything. He was too high on Ritalin. He's 14 years old and VERY immature because of his condition. He's got a heart of gold but if he's not on his medication, he's real, real hard to deal with. I thought this was a condition that the kids were suppose to grow out of?

That's awful. I was just telling my SO, who hasn't had the chance to visit the forums lately because of work, about her this morning. She's touched a lot of us. I just wish there was more I could offer. Feel Better Paige -
I have dreams like landing on my feet with nothin out and acting like that was normal or somethin. I've had lotsa dreams where wierd stuff happened that absolutely couldn't.

I don't usually have a beer or glass of wine until around 4:30 or 5 thru the week. The weekends depends on the weather. I may start as early as noon but have been know (on very few occasion) to start as early as 9am. Starting early has been known to cause WWIII and no one remembers how or why.

I'm not from FL but I've lived here for 8 years now. I've not frequented St Pete much but the few times I have been there, I've not been real impressed. I live in Lakeland which is about 30 miles east of Tampa (about half the distance between Tampa and Orlando off I-4). I live in north Lakeland which is only 20 minutes from Skydive City which is a bonus. Lakeland is not a big metropolis and I'm not necessarily suggesting you consider Lakeland. There's a lot of nice places in Tampa that I've heard of that you may want to consider, like I said I'm not from here so I'm not familiar with the nice places there. We plan on moving to Zephyrhills when our lease is over in September. Zephyrhills is pretty central. It's way close to the dz, Tampa, and Lakeland which offers the chance to be close to different places to go to work. Good Luck.

Tattoo & Piercing Care...All you will ever need to know!
skybrat68 replied to Paige's topic in The Bonfire
I have my navel my tongue pierced. My navel hurt far far worse than my tongue. I was one of the lucky ones for the tongue piercing, the piercing and recovery was a breeze for me. My swelling was so minimal it was practically nonexistent and I barely even felt the piercing. Once the bar bell was in, it simply felt a bit tight (if you will). It was suggested to me to use an OTC antiseptic oral cleaner called Gly-Oxide on my tongue piercing. I was completely healed within 3 weeks to a month. I can tell you what NOT to use on a fresh navel piercing. Mine was hurting so bad the day after the piercing that I completely discounted anything I was told not to use to promote healing. I used Neosporin triple antibiotic cream with pain reliever. Oh, it did the job. The piercing felt much better but the cream was doing it's job so well, it was causing my body to reject the ring. It's kinda hard to explain. It's still in there, in there good enough to pull on it as hard as I want without the risk of pulling the ring thru the skin (if that were possible). I'm luck I didn't have to go have it redone. -
I finally figured out how to get in and as usual a day late and a dollar short. I'll be there next week

So what do you think of Ansley? Maybe she just needs time to think, what with having so many names thrown at her at the same time? Lots of good names throughout this thread to choose from. Maybe go through it and pull out the names that were suggested more than once. Let us know what you decide. The suspense is killing me

Help!! Decorating room for boy and girl?
skybrat68 replied to blueskyserenity's topic in The Bonfire
Decorate the room with basic bright primary colors. If you want a theme use something like disney babies or clowns. I would try to stick with primary colors because pastels, sweet (and unisex) and it may be, gets dirty much easier, take it from me. As unappealing as it may be to you, I can't see another solution beside something unisex. Good Luck -
80s music rocks!! There's an 80s station in Tampa that I listen to all the time. If I had a sound card in my PC, I'd surely check it out.

I like Quade's and Vikings myrig2. Definitely stick with black on the bottom on the rig. That's the part that will get the dirtiest because it sits on the floor of the airplane on the ride up. Paige

I've clicked on everything! Where's the freakin pin??????
-
Right on JP, I would have to vote to keep it the way it is. Even though Talk Back is my favorite forum, I still jump back and forth to the others because they are also a matter of interest and I'm already here (so to say).
-
I would have to say mine would be the time Homie eats the REALLY hot pepper at the chili festival and goes off on a "Trip" to find his soul mate. LOL
-
Can I vote for both??? I've watched the Simpsons since the very beginning, matter of fact, it comes on Fox at 5 and 6 and I watch it every night - Still, rerun or not. I don't get the chance to watch The Family Guy that much but whenever I'm channel surfing and happen to find it on, it's a must see. I guess if I just HAD to choose I guess it'd be the Simpson's since I can't even tell you my favorite episode of The Family Guy.

I, too, would like to suggest Ansley but I would like to add the middle name Rae (that's what I would've named my youngest had he been a girl

I beg to differ. Last year at this time it was rainy here. I guess it's Europe's turn
