I would LOVE to do a freefly type jump, but due to my rig/body size issues, I can only freefly in the tunnel at this time. Are you planning on trying that, Denise? I have only done one FF tunnel camp where I learned to "sit". (Did you see my "tunnel sit" avatar from the last 2 days...see attachment?) I do recommend trying it, though it's supposedly very different than flying in the sky. About my rig...my lateral straps are too huge (which causes my rig to shift like crazy away from the rest of my body) and my leg straps are too huge. (They fall to my knees in a "sit"...even with a bungee.) I have to downsize canopies (at least a 120 or smaller) to have the smallest rig out there, even then I still have to have it custom made to fit. (I have no damn hips.) Anyway, I even asked Greg G. his opinion, and he agreed with others' opinion (and my own) that I should wait to FF with a rig that will not "shift" (and fall off...lol!). I kind-of found that out myself, too...cutaway... There are plenty of friends that I know, who FF exclusively and love head- down most. Maybe they can jump with you, and, at some point, we can all do some nice hybrids.

OK, it doesn't matter. I have all kinds of yummy smelling body wash. The story has nothing to do with me, so...it's no big deal. No, my old BF named me "Vanilla" from a SNL skit where the "pretty girl" never sweat and "naturally smelled like vanilla". He thought that it was strange that I always smell good. It perplexed him and amused me. (It's probably just lucky genes or something...I don't know...) It was an inside joke. I never meant to conjure up any "strawberry" horror stories. Yes, that is true. We all naturally smell like vanilla. I'm not exaggerating. That is how I got my screen name. I was told that I always smell good, even at the end of a hot, "sweaty" day (but women don't sweat either...lol!) I am always delicious. I think that it's my body wash. I smell like strawberries. It's quite yummy. You would just die if you could smell me. Edited for typos

Oh, I'm so sorry about that sweetie, but I am also totally allergic to lidocaine (epinephrine, penicillan and sulfa, too) I guess that I am a veteran to surgery, though, having gone under over 10 times myself. Ok, I didn't share that in my prior surgery post, but that is so true. It fucking burns, Michele. It does. Beginning in the hand or arm creeping up like a scary silent poison to the shoulder, then ...dark. The reaction to anesthesia can vary greatly with each surgery for each person. You can never fully tell what will happen. I am so sorry that it went that way for you, my sweet friend. Hugs to you for getting through it. Oh no! I'm so sorry that you had to go through this excruciatingly frightening and painful experience. Shit. You are awesome for hanging in there, my sweet friend. I'm so proud of you. Michael is an angel. thank God that you had him there to comfort you. I'm so very, very glad. You know what? You made it through, Michele. that is all that matters. You did it. It's over. I'm still amazed and proud of you for your strength through all this. You may not think so, but I think that you are inspiring...especially to share this with us all. What on earth is a "Mexican Roadblock"? Btw, I agree with some of the others. My pet peeve is when people make noises with their mouth, too. It's disgusting. Also, halitosis (and all other body odors) is practically inexcusable nowadays. Brush your teeth...drink more water...use breath mints...anything, please...lol! Sigh...my dislikes are different than my pet peeves. I do not like adult cliques. Usually these consist of hypocritical people, who think of themselves as overly important in relation to others. They demonstrate contempt towards certain folks, yet they consider themselves and their little circle of friends so incredibly influential. Not everyone is interested in every little event that happens in those people's lives, but they feel a need to demand attention, anyway. I particularly dislike people who live as though there is no karma...aka people who intentionally hurt others (physically and emotionally).
