So then you like the writing, not the acting, my friend. That's not my point, anyway, Jeffrey. I used to work in the industry and still have many close friends in it. I have known one too many any actors/actresses, who just need constant validation and will do things that perhaps they wouldn't normally do in order to get the laughter and attention. I am actually specifically thinking of some male actors whom I hate to say it, but made me sad with their "look at me, look at me" attitude...even when we were just hanging out and not filming. Jenny McCarthy just strikes me as one of those people, but it's not like that's a crime or anything. I just don't see her "acting" as what initially attracts men to talk so highly of her. Jenny can market herself well because of her good looks and self-promotion. That's awesome for her, but I think that her appeal is that she looks like a pretty woman, but acts like a gross man, which is genius to some people. (I just don't know why! lol). I also don't think that any guy would be sticking up for her so much on this thread if she was considered a dog, that's all. Sorry if it sounds bad, but I really mean no harm. I just don't get it, but I don't always get mainstream humor!

Yes, I've heard her speak candidly, but I'm not overly impressed. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I think that people are impressed that a girl that looks like a playmate can actually think and be funny, but I don't see why she should be judged any differently than say an unattractive woman. She simply isn't that funny to me, and her acting is nothing that blows my socks off either. I don't hate her, but I don't understand why anyone would think that she has a "star" quality to her outside of her looks. One more thing...I don't really find Jenny's behavior and type of comedy funny in a man either. It's not that I don't get it, but I have to be in the right mood and around my brothers or boyfriend to really get into toilet humor. I never really was very amused by it...sorry. My BF does crack me up, though. He can be so gross, but it took me years to truly appreciate that...which I do in private with him.

I agree that there is nothing more beautiful than making love to a person whom you are totally in love with. Monogamy and waiting until you are married is a wonderful thing. My mother was a virgin, and she was about 28 when she was married. I decided to wait until I was in love and in a long-term committed relationship myself. I think that waiting is a good message if the person is wanting and willing to commit to the sacrifice.
