I almost forgot. i wanted to tell you that last week after reading about your costume, I was walking around in Santa Monica and was mysteriously drawn to a store that I had never gone to before. The moment I walked in, I was so drawn to the music. (It's funny because I felt at home...like I was where I should be and the music seemed so right.) I was told that it was bellydancing music. They were out of that particular CD, so I bought another, which is very good, yet not as good as that first one, imo. What CDs/artists do you, your teacher or your bellydance friends recommend as some of the best bellydance music? I am not going to begin bellydancing right now because I also feel that I would get consumed by it (and I adore dancing), and I have many other things that need to take priority right now. Yet, I would like to begin to listen to this type of music. Perhaps I will eventually look into the dance part at some later time.
