I, along with my family, always donate cash through a non-profit organization that my family helps to run because we know where our money will go. However, due to Phillykev's act of selflessness and generosity, I have also donated a little tiny bit to the Red Cross for him to match. We should all want for him to meet his goal. Edited: Akarunway, your concerns may be valid for you, but maybe we should just think positive thoughts on this and let it go.

Agreed. I will give cash, but I also have many warm clothes that would probably fit any children or small teens/adults who are still alive. I would think that much of the clothing or even apparel businesses would be lacking in clothing. So much is in ruins or severly damaged. Help is help...and we should do as much as we can, I think.

That is such a great question, Val. As it is, there is so much that they would need help with, and we all wonder what can be done to help on an emotional level? My family still has no real idea of how our family friend, whose wife & daughter died, is doing. Now, we've been told worse. (We have no idea what is the truth.) My father, who normally covers for him (both my father and this man are ob/gyns and cover for each other when one is on vacation) with his patients, is now doing so until he returns...if he ever makes it back or is even alive. It's sad to not know exactly how all of our friends are. We have some other friends that are still missing, also. We can only imagine what kind of grief that their family is going through. Val, what about providing crisis help for the relatives here, who may be missing family members, and who need to talk to someone? In my mind...whatever is happening or has happened over there so far is emotionally and mentally traumatic as hell for those people. They would definitely need some grief conseling overseas, and their families here, as well. Mentally...they must be going insane. What's happened to them is like a horror movie. If someone, like Val, could go and help in that way, for mental/emotional crisis help, it would probably help so much. That would be good to do either here or overseas.

I thought that you had already flown in the tunnel in Orlando, Lany. Are you thinking of doing more tunnel time, or are you hoping/trying to go through AFF? There is nothing like an actual jump, although tunnel time does benefit anyone's skills.

Even with a ruling the damage is done. Respect for some people involved is gone. Certain rules were agreed upon, some people chose to ignore them for the sake of "winning." JT, we cannot make the Skydive Mesquite Boogie, but Gia, Billvon (and Amy), Darcy, Evelyn, Amazon and I will be at Skydive Mesquite the last Saturday (29th?) in January. We will be in Vegas on the last weekend in January.
