I was just dying of laughter before, but that one (DropoutDave's story) sent me over the edge, too! I'm freaking crying now! Anyhoo, I have had many embarrassing moments. Who doesn't? I once walked slowly all the way from one side of the school to the other, across the football field and to the front of my classroom where I sat (because of my last name), unknowingly flashing everyone in sight. According to a friend my skirt was all the way up in the back. I still have no idea how that happened. Oh, how about the first time that I had to buy tampons...I picked a checkout that had a woman. She switches with a young guy right before my turn, and there's a big line behind me. I am so embarrassed, but trying to play it cool as the guy checks me out, then my...ugh...items. As I put down the item...and gum (lol) to not look so sad, he turns it over and over and over. The next thing I know, he is suddenly announcing his "price check" to the whole store. It took forever to get out of their with that guy making sure that my item was properly priced and all...ugh! Nowadays, something like that wouldn't cause me to bat an eye, but when I was a teenager getting them for the first time... Then, there was the time that I was in a crowded grocery store and in the most crowded aisle, and my skirt just fell right off me. It was a slippery, chiffon-like fabric and I had cut off the waistband because of my small waist and just tied it into a knot under my top. As the long skirt danced through the air and down to the floor, I was trying in vain to catch any of the ends of the fluttering mess. It was just insane. Especially bad was the fact that there was a young, attractive man that had just turned into the aisle right where I was standing. He was shocked, sort-of chuckling and just watched me as I tried to stop being a total flashing pervert. I left the aisle in a hurry and left the store, altogether, shortly after I gathered my skirt.

Of course, I may take off one of my satin gloves and slap you across the face, instead. It's more dramatic and fun that way. Yay! Actually, a cod piece is a wicked fun idea...DO IT!!! Ask Katie to make you one...hehehe...

Gia, you are such an amazing and beautiful person. That would be a lovely gift for anyone. You are so thoughtful and kind, so don't worry about the gift. Your friends will love it!

No, when I get lavish freebies, then I think that is from being thought of as "nice" and maybe "cute". Being given free photos from a female or free fries from another lady is just nice.

Sorry Remi, I'm not posting pics, either, but I have to say that I am currently putting together my lingerie outfit. I am trying on new pieces along with some things that I already have in my closet. Even though I am bloated due to meds in my system, it looks pretty good! I even feel SEXY, not something that I usually feel. I think that it's because I am typing with my corset on, BUT...corsets make us all look good!!!

YAY!!! I just got some lingerie delivered. I am off to go try it on!!!

Both men and women helped me at the drive-thru. Honestly, it has happened a lot at fast food places. Once I was given a meal for 8 people, when I had paid for one. I gave it all back. Something as insignificant as free fries are not going to get anyone anywhere with me, though. It may have been a mistake or it may have been on purpose. Who knows? It just made me not have such a bad day...that and the free pics. Also, I enjoyed a VERY nice evening visiting my parents and grandmother. My younger brother was coincidentally also there visiting, and we had such a nice time. AND...that night, I found in my mail that a lovely, unexpected gift had been sent to me by a friend. It's sooo nice to get little, unexpected gifts. It made me so happy.

Yesterday, I went rushing in to a photo store as it was closing to get my Visa pictures (like passport pictures) taken. The lady decided not to charge me anything. HUH??? I hugged her. I was low on cash because I have recently lost my wallet, so I am still waiting for my new cards. She didn't even know that and was just being nice. About 15 minutes later, I went to a new drive-thru that opened up since I was tired and hungry. I was given free large fries. I usually give things back (I get free fast food mistakenly give to me quite a bit), but this time, I accepted them. Anyway, I felt a little guilty, but these little freebies cheered me up. Anyone have any similar stories of little freebies, like those. Big gifts are good, but little freebie things are just so unexpected and fun.

Frenchy is a REALLY cool person...a good guy, but he will be upset that I wrote that. I don't know anything about the boot situation, but it sounds like these people helped you with their kind and generous acts. How wonderful!

To anyone who may need a room...I just received a call from Hiram's Key West Inn since they placed me on a nice waiting list for a room that three could share. I had only called them, and one other hotel, which is where I found a room to stay in Andrea and Denise. Hiram's has only a couple of rooms available right now, one with 2 queen beds for $124 and one w/ the beds, plus pull-out and kitchenette for $139! Please call them if you need a room because I am sure that they will not have anything avaiable anymore very soon. Btw, our bed and breakfast looks really nice, so I am happy to stay there, unless Andre or Denise want to change. PM being sent.
