A heaving mass of skydivers wrapped in a huge ball tumbling through the sky.... out of a 182, 1 person climbs all the way out, one sits on the step back facing the prop, one sits astride them (kinky, but hey if it's in freefall it doesn't count right?) and one leaves the door, all holding chest straps,and you just roll off the step.............. arms and legs wrapped around each other... rolling and tumbling Pete Draper, Just because my life plan is written on the back of a Hooter's Napkin, it's still a life plan.... right?

oh... oh... I know it was yours Ralph, but the student who's leg dropped off on a clear and pull (prosthetic), what was the count... "Arch - Look - Reach - Oh Shit there goes a $14,000 leg!" - I seem to remember he did an awesome landing, but I'd have hated to be in his shoe... it's pretty easy to put it all together, but the wiring can be a nightmare. I assembled everyting then took it to Best-Buy and had the Geek Squad check the wiring (which I had fucked up a little) before I switched it on...... Congratulations to Art Shaffer on his first Hog Flop Boogie as DZO!~ I made a few jumps from the Skyvan and one from the Allouette, and Art and the Staff did an awesome job. I didn't stay for the party on Saturday night, but from the look on Skymonkey One's face this morning it was pretty good (I'm sure others will comment). I exited the Skyvan this morning holding a Samsung Digimax A402 still camera (on movie mode) and posted the clip here http://www.sidsrigging.com/galleries/galleries_index.htm I have some bad news though..... Katie Blue was holding a Pink Mafia initiation jump and Barbie went in.... we are waiting for a ruling on who can get their PMS numbers - however I did just post PMS#400 Tammie (well done babe!). Art and the manifest staff - GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thanks for letting me be "retired" at a Hog Flop for the first time ever............. I always pro-pack them - as long as you are careful laying the canopy down (when you bring the tail around have a lot of twists to hold everything in place) you will be fine. When you get it ready for the bag push it in from the sides, don't roll it under. The only thing you push under is the top skin not the bulk of the canopy and lines. You can also put a rubber band on one of the B or C line attachment points and wrap it around the center of the slider, this can soften the opening a little ......... just a little Pete Draper, Just because my life plan is written on the back of a Hooter's Napkin, it's still a life plan.... right?

Mike, just as an aside I got a link request from their web-designer/plagiarist? - and he even emailed me from a 1800skride email address! When I, very politely, told him I would rather go blind than have anything to do with a "Ben and Jerry" operation, he apologized and claimed that he was the "new guy" and knew nothing of their practices - I (again politely) suggested that he might want to do some research before putting his name on any site over there.......
