WOW, this makes me not want to pack a rig again with my name on it. Someone could repack their own rig or close it up without a seal and jump it. Then they have a mal burn in under a reserve mal and nobody would ever know you did not pack it. I know this is a little far fetched but I could really see a few jumpers that would do something that dumb and leave a rigger with alot of problems.

This actually reminded me of an event that scared the hell out of me. I keep my area clean and use a checklist for my tools. I had recently packed a pilot rig, when I pack a pilot rig I use a different set of temp pins than normal (blunt tip pins). I packed the rig checked off the tools, put them away and filed the paper work. About a week later I moved to a different DZ when the one I was at closed down. A few weeks later I had another pilot rig, I packed it up and started to close the rig. Only problem is two temp pins with orange flags and my name on them were missing. I grabbed my paperwork saw that I had checked them off the list. I was still scared as hell about where those pins were. I called the guy with the pilot rig and he brought the rig in. I Opened it up and no pins, after that embarassing moment I could at least sleep again. But I was still worried about those temp pins. A few days had gone by and the DZO asked me to help move some display cases that he bought from the old DZ. I went to help him move them and right there in the cases were two orange flagged temp pins with my name on them. I was so damn happy that I found them and could finally relax. I told the DZO about it and he said, oh yeah I grabbed those out of a tool box at the old DZ to take apart the display cases, when he went to put them back the tool box was gone so he left them in the case. I could have killed him over that one. I no longer use those damn orange flagged temp pins and only keep two at the most in my box at all times. If I did not check my tools back in after each repack I probably would have called every person I packed in that 3 week period. Chris

He could have kept the area clea, but needed a kleenex to blow his nose. Maybe the rigger was allergic to cats and the owner of the rig had cats. I would be more worried about how much the guy was sneezing or how sick he was during the repack. I would give the previous rigger a call and let them know about it. Chris

If you have any questions about keyloggers and accessing that computer remotely from work send me a private message. If your daughter uses programs like spybot or virus software they will sometimes find keylogging software and disable it. If you want to keep everything hidden it will take some extra work other than installing the programs. Chris

Spying is the last resort you should try, but if everything else has failed at least you will know what is going on. Who knows there may not be anything to worry about and you can be at ease. And if there is something in her life thats bad or she needs help in you can be more in tune and may be armed with enough to get a conversation out of her. Never directly say that you were spying on her, use it as a way to know what to talk about and be prepared. Before doing it just think about something. One day when all of the teenage years have blown by you will most likely have a good open relationship with her, and you will have to tell her what you did. It may not fly too well even when you tell her years later. Chris

Well rest easy there are programs out there to help you out that will not be detected. One in particular logs all keystrokes and records screen shots at intervals you specify. You can set it up to e-mail you the screenshots and key logs. Once you use it a little you will be able to see everything that goes on in chats e-mail and web pages she visits. It does not even show up in the program lists for removal. http://www.mykeylogger.com/ another useful program and free is VNC. If that computer is on your home network you just need to know the IP address and you can access the computer remotely just like your sitting in front of it. www.tightvnc.com Hope that helps.. Chris
