    Don't be too quick to downsize too fast. I'm the same height and weight that you are and I learned on a Manta 230. With 20 jumps I started to purchase my own gear. My instructors all recommended that I buy a Sabre 2 150. Even at less than a 1:1 wing loading, this was a fast canopy for me. 14 Jumps and 4 crash landings later I put my Sabre 2 up for sale and purchased a Spectre 170. I would have bought a 190 but it wouldn't fit into my container. It's been an expensive and valuable learning experience. Do what you want but I would advise to downsize slowly. Good Luck!

    Andy Roddick was just at my drop zone the other day with his coach. They were both doing tandems . Only one jumper even knew who he was and he told her that he was surprised that no one else recognized him. Pretty funny. I've also heard that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman each have an A license.

    QuoteHi Sue, The wind tunnel is a great idea. I couldn't get stable on level 3 and repeated it 7 times before I went to the tunnel. The instructors there are great and they really helped me. I passed level 3 as soon as I came home and have remained stable in the sky ever since. Good luck.

    Hi Everyone, I finally finished my AFF last month (it only took 10 months) and have finally gotten around to posting an intro here.
