There are quite a few NHL teams who now have "Ice Girls" who act as chearleaders in some instances but also do things like throw shirts into the stands, lead crowd cheers, promotions and sweep the ice during TV timeouts and such. But I am not aware of any NHL teams who have cheerleaders in the same sense as the girls at the Olympics we are talking about. I rather enjoy the presence of the Flyers Ice Girls at games. But they never stand in the aisles blocking the game though.

Yeah and here is the girl I dated last night. Is she a keeper? Oh and then she went home with me and we did it all night and in the morning she made me breakfast in bed and then gave me a massage and then.... Oh and the best thing, my wife was totally down with it! We are all sitting here right now having a good giggle about it!

I agree, but it is a little like complaining that all you have to eat today is a hamburger when you usually get steak. It's hard for us hamburger eaters to feel sorry for you.
