LIFE! I love my life, I love being me! I smile whenever my s.o. calls me 'sweetie' or 'darlin.' Heck, I smile at the very thought of him. I smile when i see dogs hanging their heads out of the window of a vehicle. I smile when I see others smiling, it's contagious around here. I smile when I have the capability of making others smile and make them feel good about themselves. I smile when there's not a cloud in the sky and the blue is calling out my name to come play. i myself do not smoke, but i don't mind if others smoke, just not around me. i find it hard to breathe and my eyes start watering, so if you are smoking around me, i won't ask you to leave, i will relocate myself. i have seen the effects of long term smoking. my grandfather passed away due to its effects, and i am watching my grandmother slowly die. w/ her being a smoker of 30 + years, she has leather looking skin, she had to get her teeth replaced because they were so black and brown, she is constantly coughing up the nastiest shit from her lungs, she's constantly getting sick, and she loses her breath very easily. this isn't exactly what i consider a healthy habit. i don't want to go through that, but there is that huge thing called freedom of choice. _________________________________________ all good things are wild and free - Henry David Thoreau

I have read three of Dave Pelzer's books (A child called "IT", the lost boy, and a man named dave). I just found out he has a fourth one out. Reading his books really opened up my eyes, many times i caught myself crying when reading his words. My heart goes out to him and any other person who had to go through or is going through abuse, whether it be from parents, siblings, lovers, etc. His situation made me realize that i had it pretty good compared to the shit my mother put me through. _________________________________________ all good things are wild and free - Henry David Thoreau

hmmmm. . . given the fact that i was born in the early 80's, i can't really say that i can sit down and listen to that style of music. my father ruined my ears w/ it. maybe if he wouldn't have forced it upon me, i might have more appreciation for it. there are a few songs from way back when that i do like, however. . . . i am not completly against it. i like more of the rock from the 80's than anything else. _________________________________________ all good things are wild and free - Henry David Thoreau
