Hey man, I have a rig for sell with a cypres. It has a 190 main and a 250 reserve. I don't know what size you were looking for. (Price is negotiable - make me an offer.

I like this one http://www.packingparachutes.com/index.htm "Packin' parachutes funner a bunch of drunk monkeys" Kind of like the dz on Saturday night. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

You guys do know what a troll is, right? I mean, how obvious can you be??? "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

You know, I am of the opinion that wing loading doesn't mean much. It doesn't for me anyway. I have been in the 1.3 - 1.4 range sinse jump number 30. This is on a 190 sq ft canopy so that is why it makes less difference, I think. I have flown a square canopy for about my first 300 jumps as well. I have just recently gotten a semi eliptical canopy, same size, and I had better not turn it close to the ground or I am in trouble. Of course, that has been true all the way through my skydiving career. I think it depends on your size and skill level as to what wing loading you should be flying. Just my $.02. Edit: Maybe I should rephrase this - the bigger you are the less important wingloading is. This can only be true up to a certain point - and I don't know and don't want to know what that point is. Anyway, don't flame me too bad.

It is Griffin. I used to own a 190 that kept spanking the dog dooky out of me. Flight Concepts bought them out. (They are in Norcross.) They took my Griffin as a trade in and supposedly shredded it.

Dude, you are sooooo not right. I think that is what I like about you. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

If I had that I would never see any of my friends!

Some people like to "pop up" at the end of their track as they deploy. Suppossedly it makes the shock of going into a feet down position less. I don't know, I do know not to open in a track as I did that Saturday and am still damn sore this morning.

Actually, a pro tec is one of the better helmets out there - protection wise.

Now THAT was funny! "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

Geez Patrick, that is pretty bad - and claiming that it happened to you, (I got this in an e-mail a couple of weeks ago myself.) This could cost you another fingertip - well at least beer. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

Which cell service provider gets the best coverage?

I have T-Mobile and they do not suck for me. It works as long as you are on a major highway, nationwide, free long distance, bunches of minutes. Oh and Sam, it works at the dz. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!" -

I think the real problem with this deal - lack of communication due to buying from a third party. I have said this before, when we ordered the canopy we were told it would be eight weeks. Four months later, I finally have my canopy. When we asked Icarus where it was, Wyat wouldn't give us a delivery date. When he finally did, he lied about it and delivered it a full two weeks later plus he promised to throw in some t-shirts. I get the canopy, no t-shirts. All they had to do was just tell us when they could deliver and I would have been happy. Instead they just don't answer or they tell you lies. I tried to talk to Hector about it in Rantoul and all he wanted to do was give me a powerpiont presentation of their factory in Spain. Pert of being a good communicator is being a good listener, Hector. Anyway, I hope I never have a problem with this thing because as far as I am concerned they can kiss my big hairy butt. Edit: Also, when Wyat knew he wasn't going to be able to deliver when he said he was, do you think he took the thirty seconds or so it would have taken to send me an e-mail and say, "Sorry buddy, I can't get it to you this week, I hope to be able to next week."? Of course not, that would be good customer service and they don't practice that.

I agree about the band in tent city. It is bad enough trying to go to sleep listening to the band in the entertainment tent, then you have a garage band 4 tents down whose only claim to fame is that they play REALLY loud, well, you see the problem. There were water fountains last year?! Why not this year? The hot showers were good, some shower curtains would be nice. (It was ok until some guy starts talking to me. Dude, not in the shower, ok? I know - I'm homophobic.)

I thought it was like, stand up, grab handle, wait, wait, ok anytime now, holy crap! Man this is fun!

All I have to say is, "What a freakin' ride!"

Geee... I don't know who that could have been Now c'mon, you know it was a long snivel. -
My favorite part was the bi-plane. I will be displaying this picture for a long time. Also, just being there is cool. With all that is going on there is no reason to get bored because you can't or don't jump. Then there was the afformentioned seeing Sunny passed out on the lawn in front of the dz.com tent. Ummm, what else is there to say. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

Lemme see - I think my favorite part was you passed out on the lawn in front of the tent. That was a good one. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

It has been over three monthes for me. I used an inhaler for a couple of weeks. (Doc prescribed it cost me $10.) I breath better. The only drawback is that I have gained about thirty pounds and now my landings suck some of the time. Oh wait, my landings sucked some of the time before too. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
