Jumper 03: You don't know me, so for what its worth: A while ago I remember seeing a picture of a guy and his dog here on dz.com and it struck me as the happiest dog I've ever seen. Happy in a peaceful, safe and loved kind of way if you know what I mean. I've been looking for that picture ever since to show other people how content and safe a dog can feel, but still havent found it. Until today. The picture is the second one in your post- the one with you and the dog. Truly the most satisfied dog I've ever seen and I've had a few... I'm sorry for your loss but think of how happy you apparently made her
  5. Thanks to Piisfish for PM'ing me contactinfo! Just talked to Terry a couple of days ago and he promised to send me a few screws! Great guy and really awsome costumerservice! :)
  6. Need help here: I tore off my Schumacher Ring Sight Bracket a few weeks ago (No, no line entanglement or any other scary incident, just plain clumsyness ), and naturally broke off the plastic screws. I can't seem to find new ones anywhere so I'm therefore trying to get in touch with the manufacturer. So does anyone have any contactinfo for them? Mail/web-page? Thanx in advance
  7. I bought a stock rig from RWS a couple of years ago. The rigs are complete (which means you won't get to choose your own horrible colors ;) ) except for the harness which is made to your measurements. This worked out beautifully for me, I strongly recommend it. Contact RWS to get a list on what's available.
  8. I don't want anyone in my wedding that doesn't want to be there. If your husband don't want to go, then what's the use in him being there?

    Book Ideas

you'd need wierd french guys too. How 'bout the one that's starring in The Big Blue and Leon. Jean Reno. That might work.
  10. I've been riding for 18 years now, and switched from Burton to Option last year. DO NOT DO IT!!! I've had three different Burtons (Cruise, Kelly and Rippey) and went for Option this time. Big mistake. I'll stick it out this season but that's it. My next trade will get me back on Burton!
  11. i have about 2-300 jumps on my Merlin and it is still my favorite. For me, Big wings and booties (I'm _not_ lightweight) are necessities for filming tandems (booties for being able to get good shots from underneath without backtracking).
  12. I was there this June. It's possible to hike between all five villages in one day, but you'll have to get up early and take the shortest trails (closest to the sea and most expensive). If you're lazy the railroad pops out of the mountains in each village. The coolest trick I've got for 'ya: Whenever you eat at a restaurant (goes for all of Italy): Don't bother with the wine list. Ask for the house wine ('Vino del la Casa' I think it translates to). Almost every restaurant makes their own wine- you'll get it straight from the cask in a bottle with no label so it's 'a bit young. It's dead cheap and usually very good. Have a great trip- I totally loved Cinque Terre!
  13. Help! I'm jumping with a Sony TRV 900 and have an image-quality problem. When filming upwards (exits and tandems) or with bright (e.g cloudy) backgrounds the image flutters. It doesn't really shake as I've herad some people complain about, it just rapidly changes between lighter and darker. I belive someone referred to it as "Floating Iris" but it might not be the same thing... Does anyone have any idea of why this happens, or most important: Any tips on how to get rid of the problem? Please...? Halvor
  14. Here you go: http://www.relativeworkshop.com/tech_closingseq.html To sum it up: "the binding tape of both side flaps is lined up" Congrats on your new rig dude! You're gonna love it!
  15. Who's the fat guy? Seriously, I don't have a clue. Looks like Michael Moore though..
  16. I have a Micron 308 with a PD126r and a Crossfire2 119. No problem packing this. I actually believe that a 129 would do fine also. Guess I should mention that I'm used to tight pack jobs. I used to pack a ST135 in a ST120 Javelin container (TJN?) so the 119 in the 308 really is a cakewalk
  17. Ferret and Turtle: You two reminds me of Beavis and Butthead! If possible; in a good way.. Don't get me wrong, I'm a boobie fan myself and all the pics are now purple instead of blue on my comp. but the really value of this thread is still the "Umh!YeahYeah!Huhuh!Boobies!Yeah!Cool!Huh!"-feel it gives!

    Monday Funny

And that's the best reply you could come up with..? Yeah, that one really stung... good one
  19. Even cooler with a full face helmet..
  20. Dude! There should be a *NSFW* sign on that one! My palms are sweaty and my pulse is up just from looking over my shoulder at work... But damn man!
  21. I see you're from Texas. Apparently ignorance is in style down there, judging by other famous Texans..? Sorry, couldn't let that one go by! "Must mock the US president"
  22. The plane I remember best is a Caravan I jumped from on my 20th-or-so jump, as the last jumper out. Being used to the small 182 and now finding myself all alone in this big(!) Caravan is a really sweet memory. I remember standing in the door, giving the group ahead of me spacing. I was looking down at the floor, and thinking: "Wow! The floor just ends! There's nothing out there!" That was a great moment.. Later I've jumped C-130's and other aircrafts, but the memory from the "biig" Caravan really sticks..

    Aleksei Nemov

You americans are pretty funny. Paul Hamm wasn't in any position to give a gold medal to anyone. He didn't win. In fact he wasn't even close to Igor Cassin, the Italian that did win (now, that's _my_ opinion..). I agree with you, Lew, that the judges were too hard on Nemov, but it really didn't matter much, since even after the score correction, he still ended up short. He's still got like 12 Olympic medals though. No doubt he's en excelent gymnast
  24. Bugger.. I really thought I had this nailed. Sorry. I'll hunt down and bitchslap my old history teacher! Sorry about this.. Got another quote though: "I've coined new words, like, misunderstanding and Hispanically" -Bush (He is a funny guy, the US pres. Everytime he appears on tv I allways think: "He's a funny guy. Now where's the real president..?" )
  25. A bit tricky isn't it..? Sorry guys, both of you've got it wrong. So neither spelling is accepted. Since Auswitch is a proper name, there is only one right way to spell it. Like Oregon, for instance. You can't spell it Ogeron, can you..? Oh! The qoute: "More and more of our country's import comes from other countries" -Bush You guys really have a funny president! ;)
