Oh yeah - bonehead has some nice helmets....and theyr coustomer service are just....yeah...it rocks. My girlfriend and I was over at Perris/Elsinore in jan/feb, and she wanted a optik. Her head is a bit small.....and didn't really fit in any helmet. She went over to bonehead (5 min away from perris) and they baked it and put some padding in a small optik and helped her make it fit perfect....and they took no extra charge.... I also talked to them about some other stuff, and they where really helpful. So besides making some of the best helmets, they have a really good coustomer service. ....just had to say it:)

Yeah - Florida would be great, but we are wisiting some family in California, so California it is then...for this time....Florida later I guess

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to California i January & february (we live in Norway). We are going to live near Perris and Elsinore, how is the weather situation around thes DZ's in jan/feb? ....guess this is the two "best" dz's in that area...or? Any thoughts any1?

U should see the swoop I did yesterday - 603 feet. We have it on video...and off course a lot of eyewitness. Hope to post the video here in a year or two -
Hi all. I have the Canon EOS 10d and wonders what settings to use for the camere...so...what do u folks use? I have a sigma 15mm fixed fishee lense:) schkaidaiv!

In my home DZ (also in Norway) two F16 passed right over the DZ. I belive it was last summer...and there where two students in the air at about 1000 feet...and the planes passed below them..... The students didn't see the planes, but we that where on the ground did....an off course no one got it on camera:( The mililtary took it seriosly though...so now the give us a call before passing the DZ (at least almos every time the pass throug....)

I'm using DVD too...but the main problem is the file mangament system....quade, u said u used iView, but does any1 have any good suggestion to use wuth a pc?

Damn....those arrows are really strange. When I capture stills in premiere I see no arrows. Guess u have to reinnstall premier Just had to.....and now it's under three days to the best boogie north of the sahara ....and my 10D is only hours away...Life is good

I almost bought one 1 gb card, but then a smart person said "wouldn't two 512 cards be better, then u can empty one when u use the other taking photos"....didn't know there were so smart ppl out there Anyway...I guess if u have a laptop to empty the pictures too, two cards would be the best

I hav desided(I think) to go for the Canon 10d with the sigma fisheye 15mm and Sandisk Extreme 512 Hispeed Compact flash card (total 1792 usd) But, anyone have a suggestion for a good lense to use on the ground for all sorts of stupid shooting, from weddings, faces and trees to birthays and my girlfriend

I hate this What camera should I buy? I have the money - should I then go for the 10d or will the 300d do the job? ....I'm just going to use it "for fun"...but(....it's always a but....) I just can't deside what camera to go for? Whats the ups and downs of those two? 10d is a bit heavy (or is it actually so heavy???) the 300d takes to few pics.....I guess.... So...if any1 can tell me what I should bye....I'd love it

Yeap...that sucks...but it must be possible to open the ir control and make a "homemade" solution. Anyone done that on any other ir release? Btw. David....have u found any really nice price for that camera? Anyone that can suggest a wide angel lense for this cam?

Guess I bought my first gear before finishing my student period (static line). I'll never forget the feeling beeing able to pack my own gear, put it on and jump out of the plane....and the hard landing with that ooooold PD 170 ...btw....a student at my DZ bought when he was almost finished with his student period...then he stopped jumping...lol...

So, that means if I use that camera in the temparature I was jumping in today (10 below 0 C) I'm fucked? Crap....well, let's hope that global warming makes it to Norway soon

Thnx for the "speed test" freekfly:) But, what kind of "remote" do u use to take pictures in freefall. Do u use the original one for the 300d or do u have a modified one??

I'm going to buy a Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel), from the US (I live outside) and a Sigma Fisheye 15mm f/2.8 EX Diagonal Fisheye Autofocus Lens for Canon EOS. Does any1 know any nice web shop that is cheap?
