You didn't get the point - they meant that these cities had no choice but to follow their red states' lack of gun laws. Doesn't matter whether the cities are democrat controlled since they can't do anything about the state law they are in.

You already need a license to drive a car. In the US you don't need a license to own a gun. In Germany, getting a driving license is much more difficult than in the US A car's primary use is transportation, not killing. What's a gun's primary use? He's too angry to notice, even in the other threads. The impeding shutdown of this site must have hit him hard. He spent years and thousands of posts here saying that "global warming isn't happening" and when he turned out to be completely wrong, he now has to move the goalposts to "yeah it's warmed up but NOTHING is happening!" and without the forums, how can he continue to attempt to get the validation that he so desperately needs?
