    You rushed your drills.. I specifically remember going through the dive flow with my instructors and in my head before AFF jumps, thinking theres no way I will have time to do all this! My instructors were saying.. relax.. you've got time to do it twice! And they were right. It is sensory overload, and nervousness. You are right to be nervous.. but you have to understand that not every jump will be perfect. While you are a student, focus on the basics until they feel natural.. and then still focus on them, for thats what will save your life. One of my favorite things to do is to dive out after a base and swoop in to my slot. I hadnt done that in a while, so last weekend I ended up going low on the base TWICE. Pissed at myself for wasted skydives.. particularly when I *know* how to swoop in.. but thats just the way it goes sometimes. If its not you messing up the skydive, its someone else.. you just have to learn from every jump and carry on! Good luck with AFF! Relax and enjoy yourself!

    Charles, Sell the container and the main without the reserve. You can advertise them seperately or together. You dont need to buy a reserve just to turn around and sell it as a complete rig. If you need help selling her gear, I'm sure Joe, Becca, or anyone else at the dz will help you. Glad to hear Joan is doing better!

    I like to sing along with road trip music. I can actually sing quite well so its not too painful.. I have some Paul Oakenfold but only listen to it in small doses. Usually if I want to listen to techno, I just put in a skydiving video..

    Me too, Keely.. and to make it worse, four of my co-workers are working in Austin and SA this week and next week, and where am I?? Not there! I have been growling at my manager every time I see her.. she knows to send ME to TX! Chris is going to miss Texas when he gets to Philly for sure.. and theres no such thing as "Last Day as a Texan". Anyone up for drinks at The Oasis?

    BUMP! So I ordered 2 different costumes from a .com type of halloween store, and holy cow they looked so CHEAP! So I sent them back. Went to a halloween store on my lunch break yesterday and found much of the same. Called my partner in crime and we discussed options.. Rosa I think I'm going to PM you and Mel for help because youre so stylish and creative... and I am sooo not.

    Hey all... there is a Balloon Fest at the Tullahoma Regional Airport, home of Tennessee Skydiving Center, this weekend! We will be jumping the Caravan all weekend.. and possibly some balloons. Not sure of the protocol on how to get on a balloon, but I do know for sure that if you're not there, you wont get to jump one. So to sum up.. Tullahoma, this weekend (oct 9-10), hot air balloons, caravan, and of course, party saturday night. Got questions? Call the dz.. or PM me or GroundZero. Party on...
