  1. You're one of the few who knows HOW.. so you're dancing with me buddy!
  2. Lee you do a rotten job of upholding the Queen's English. "Do you need a ride you sorry bastard" should end with a question mark. Whats up with a reserve popping in the plane? Were y'all f-ing around again?
  3. Probably not but they'd be safer in a carry-on. Depends on how important the files are to you. Certainly make back up copies. Ever tried a jump drive? I carry mine in my purse which goes thru airport security twice a week and its fine.
  4. Never get involved in a land war in Asia. ..and if you wanna dance with me you'll bring some Gipsy Kings. (I promise I wont make *everyone* salsa dance this time)
  5. Shoot, in Texas the DPS officer will hold your beer while you blow. ...and how many ways can *that* sentence be taken.... (at least 2)..
  6. Of course! Only I'll get there first! Then you get a hug first! Sorry Chris! (now watch Chris try to get two hugs out of me... that hugslut! hehe! )
  7. Thats not settling! I'll take one in addtion, of course!
  8. Depends on where you are. In TN, you consent to a breathalyzer by accepting your drivers license. If you refuse, you will be arrested and fined, I forget how much, but A LOT. More than it would cost to get a DUI. Plus you'll still get a DUI. Its all messed up. edit: OK I didnt read Nate's post before I posted. But he's right! And I know this because I spent all day yesterday in defensive driving cause I need to slllooooooowwwwww dowwwwwwwwwwn!
  9. *ALL* guys have measured it. And they're *ALL* curious how they measure up to other guys. Your ex-boyfriends in particular.
  10. Yeah I was also wondering why a "jumper" would have any authority to tell him hes kicked off. drama, drama, drama... isn't the theatre school on the other side of town from the drop zone? It is in my world..
  11. FRIDAY???!!! Well.. OK. I promise to keep the bonfire going for you and the other Friday night arrivals! We'll have a cold beer for ya too. (you know in the south, its not a beer, its a "cold beer")
  12. From the story I heard, it sounds like someone misunderstood some information and told someone. Then the person he told called around to verify, and found it was untrue. I'm glad they did, before the bad information got too far out. I'm positive nobody was trying to start a rumor. Hell yah we're gonna boogie!!!
  13. Chelle, I know exactly how you feel. I lost my DZO who was a dear friend four months ago. I say "I" lost him, but we all lost him. I've made less than 20 jumps since he died. I have definitley had to ease back in to it. I listen to my gut a lot more. If I've made a couple of jumps and dont feel like making any more that day, then I dont. I have no intention of quitting the sport at this time. But I'm not over his death. A few weeks ago I went to jump at the DZ where I was visiting when I found out that he died. I felt very squirrley about jumping there, even though there was no realistic reason. All I can say is take your time. Don't let people pressure you to jump jump jump. Jump when it feels good to you, and sit out when you feel scared but remember that you are not alone.
  14. shit kitty....you know the cool people wont get therte till friday We've hired substitutes
  15. I was thinking the same thing! Wonder how BIG that bonfire would be! hehehe!
  16. Alright so I'm about a year late for this thread, but I just finished The DaVinci Code and thought it was really interesting. I liked the complexities of the code breaking. There was enough drama to keep it on a fictional level of entertainment but enough "fact" to give you something to relate to, pertaining to biblical knowledge. I'm a Christian and was not offended at all. Christians know that the Bible is a collection of translations and is to be studied, but not taken literally. We also know that theres a lot more to the life of Christ than what is detailed in The Bible. I didn't take this book to be factual, but thought it to be a good read. Now I want to go have a look at The Last Supper in detail..
  17. No way! I don't believe y'all partied! Thats sooooo unlike you!! The party starts on wednesday when the cool people get there. Everyone knows that!!

  23. Actually not so strange. Kelly and I are good friends and we are a lot alike in many ways. Your reading does sound a lot like me. My home life has always been solid as a rock, and enabled me to pursue anything I want. I've also very driven in my career. I dont really like the term "material" but I'll admit to liking some of the creature comforts in life. thanks! You *are* good at this!!
