It is the Instructors duty to do it right, thats why they are an instructor, if oyu dont know its wrong, what would prompt you to ask? You observe. Did you ever watch other loads come down? Observe their patterns and try to duplicate them? Or realize that you werent doing the same thing and ask someone to watch your pattern? I know we're kind of harping on the landing pattern thing here, but it applies to all aspects. Anything I feel I am struggling with or can improve, I ask someone to watch me do it and give me some feedback. If you sit around and wait for people to tell you what youre doing wrong, you'll never learn anything. You have to engage your brain... and take things slowly. There is SO much to learn, it could never all be covered in a classroom. Ever have a whuffo ask you why you jumped more than once? Why do you do the same thing every weekend? Doesnt it get boring? Because every jump is challenging and I learn something and improve my skills with every jump. But its because I take the initiative.

Everyone makes mistakes. Not everyone survives them. So far you have, so congratulations. Quit relying on what your husband knows... he cant fly your canopy for you. If *any* of your security comes from the fact that you're married to an experienced skydiver, then ground yourself until you can find your safety zone and skydive THERE. You shouldnt quit because people are jumping down your throat. You should only quit if you are not willing to take responsiblity for your mistakes and learn from them. I think you should give yourself another chance.

Judy.. you just made me scream out loud! Ok kids.. back to business. Remember that the dz had been closed for a while so we're kinda down to bare bones. So if you think you'll need it, bring it. Carbones are cooking, and you can practically land at wal mart. The DZ is right in town. Theres lots of room to camp, but if you want a hotel, the Jameson Inn, and the Hampton Inn are both less than a mile away. PM me if u need more info.

I dont know any kept men. We do have one camera flyer who's wife packs for him, but shes preggers now so I guess hes gonna have to pack his damn self! haha! (ok just a little bitterness there.. )

He was 6'4" and I'm 5'5". I imagine he still is 6'4" but I havent seen him in a long time so who knows?
