Geez here we go again... just got the new yellow pages and theres an ad for Above Nashville Skydiving.. so called the number and guess where they are??? c'mon guys, one guess! Cedartown, GA! A full FOUR hours SOUTHEAST of Nashville. Am I surprised? No. But I hope that by posting this, at least one person gets good information and saves themselves the frustration of being lied to. sigh. Anyone is welcome to email or PM me for info on dropzones actually near Nashville. And I'm not posting this to start a whole new ASC-bashing thread. Just exposing bad info. Carry on. -
Spence says its the second weekend in Oct. Cause the following weekend is the mountain boogie, and then 2 weeks after is the Skydive Atlanta halloween boogie. So you just need to come back south in October. You can have my room, I'm never home anyway.

Yep.. if I were to do a high alti jump at Mike's dropzone I'm sure he'd be the one doing the briefing.. but he doesnt own TN Skydiving Center. His dz is West TN Skydiving. We're not doing these jumps at a TN dropzone anyway.

We're moving the 27th and going to Neighbors if possible. ELN night (aka party bus) is Thurs night the 28th. (We may be celebrating a new job for me too, but I dont want to speak too soon.) I've got the SUV.. just need a DD.

21,000 feet. I'm just looking for some information to fwd to another jumper. Her instructors cleared her to make the jump. Shes very current but also very new. I just wanted to give her some info so she can make a better informed decision, and prepare herself, rather than just trusting its OK for her to do because her instructor said so.
