I really didn't like the song about being angry in America. They didnt like thier place in life so they blamed it on living in America? So go live somewhere else rent free.

I had not seen the musical but saw the movie last weekend. Less than five minutes in to the movie I said to myself "This is La Boheme".. freezing on Christmas eve, burning screen plays to keep warm, Mimi.. and then I read in the paper that it was actually scripted as a modern day version of Puccini's "La Boheme". duh. Can't say I loved all of the music, but overall it was very well done. I like it better now that I could absorb all of the characters and their stories. More than I liked it while I was watching it. Actually made me want to see "La Boheme" again.. I'm kind of an opera buff.

Yep. There are more men than women in this sport. We get hit on. You dont lose your girlfriend, you lose your turn, etc. etc. Presents a mild challenge for the women to prove themselves as "skydivers" and not just "a hot chick at the dz". On the other hand, there are a LOT of girls who show up at the DZ, dont really jump much, but love the attention. Makes it really easy to establish the different betewen "skydivers" and "hot chicks at the dz". And the guys who want those girls can have them. I'll be up on a load.

Yep, nothing. I like this one too.. :) An adult and a child are walking down the street. The child is the adult's son, but the adult is not the child's father. How is this possible?

In most Universities, cheating is taken a little more seriously. Steve, why do you feel that you've failed? Think about it.. senior year.. end of the semester.. finals out the ass.. *they* made the choice to cheat in order to get one test out of the way.

On that note.. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A turkey fryer was blamed today on a fire that destroyed a home south of Nashville. Firefighters said the owner of the home, Jim Finley of Nolensville, was frying a turkey on his back deck and left the fryer unattended. He was the only person home at the time and was not hurt. Finley said the fire spread so quickly, it could not be put out. What this story doesnt say is that the homeowner is a firefighter.

There are 2 other DZ's in the DFW area that dont charge quite as much for Tandems. Skydive Dallas is closer to Oklahoma than Dallas. Been there twice, but couldnt seem to get a jump in either time. shit happens ya know.
