LOL, I agree, many have short memories. But I also disagree in the context that this occurred. Cheney is her father, and can speak to his children (both daughters), but it really is lowclass to talk about someone else's children. I have no idea what anyone gained or lost, but that's my opinion. I understand yours, but don't agree with it. And that's all right, isn't it? Ciels- Michele I thought he (Cheney) was talking to the American people during the debate. And Lynne Cheney talked about it on NPR with Cokie Roberts. And Alan Keyes (Republican) talked about it at the RNC without any righteous "indignation" from the right. Looks a little like a double standard to me. Three times is enemy action

I think his #1 mistake is allowing people with an IQ of under 50 to have free speech and vote... That's called "Looking out for #1" Three times is enemy action

Keep it in perspective. "Penny wise, pound foolish". The problem isn't the half million dollar party. The party is merely a symptom of the overall problem. In the midst of a recession and under an ever-growing threat of terrorism, one branch of the Office of Homeland Security feels justified in spending half a million dollars on what basically amounts to a grammar school awards assembly to hand out plaques to government employees for doing the jobs they are paid to do. They even went so far as to hand out "Lifetime Achievement Awards" for service to a government agency that has only been in existence for two years. The TSA needs to leave the awards banquets to the entertainment industry and focus on the job at hand. True, but shouldn't someone be worrying about the rest of the $412 billion debt the government is running up this year with no plan to pay it off? Three times is enemy action

He made the same promise 4 years ago at the 2000 RNC - what did he do about it? Nothing. Three times is enemy action

Did John Kerry get a less than honorable discharge?
Tf15 replied to chuckbrown's topic in Speakers Corner
I see that it goes from speculation in line 1 of your post, to proven fact by the end. That's ingenious. Three times is enemy action -
How do you know what they would do, have you polled them? Do you know who is in control of both houses of Congress and the White House right now? Republicans. Why haven't they rolled back all these "Democratic" intrusions while they still have the opportunity? Why have the Republicans produced an enormous increase in the size of government since 2000? More government = more governance. Three times is enemy action

Bush won - he made more provably untrue statements than Kerry did. Like his denial that he had said OBL was not his priority. They played his actual March 2002 statement on the radio this morning - he said it alright, and Kerry had quoted it almost word for word. Three times is enemy action

It's not surprising at all; look at which countries still execute juveniles (there are only 4 left, and the US is one of them). The US has executed more juveniles than all other nations combined over the last 25 years. Exactly the same attitude prevails. Three times is enemy action

I think you mean "Cher". Was spelling a part of your educational background? P.S. I have more than one graduate degree. Does that make my opinion better than yours or Bush's? Three times is enemy action

Really. I listened to the president's rationale during the State of the Union address, and it was all about WMDs. When they find some WMDs I will agree with you. Until then I reserve judgement. Curious that Bush doesn't want any independent inspectors in Iraq looking for WMDs, don't you think? Three times is enemy action

As a signatory nation to the UN Charter, the US is bound by US law (US Constitution Article VI) to treat these people in accordance with international law on human rights. Most impartial observers agree that it does not appear to be doing so. The US has very dirty hands on this issue. Three times is enemy action

Saw the video this morning. The troops opening the barrels were wearing gas masks but not chemical suits. They had lots of exposed skin. Isn't that curious? Three times is enemy action

Indeed - creeping for a speedstar is overkill. I have seen a serious 10-way team use creepers for some of the more difficult formations. Most of the dirt diving involves getting the exit right. It was interesting to see them using an Otter in the hangar, with a large thick foam pad under the door for them to land on in a big heap of arms, legs and rigs. Three times is enemy action

"Trust, but verify", one of Ronald Reagan's moments of inspiration. I still wonder why Bush & Co wanted the UN inspectors out of Iraq in such a hurry. To paraphrase the bard, there's something rotten in the District of Columbia. Three times is enemy action

Does your DZ have a drug testing policy for Staff members?
Tf15 replied to WFFC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That's a little simplistic considering how pervasive random testing is. If I refuse to submit to random drug testing and am not hired because of it, I see that as being discriminated against because I believe in my 4th amendment rights. The 4th Amendment, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights, limits the power of government. It has no relevance to private employment practice. How do you feel about drug testing for airline pilots? Three times is enemy action
